Gerry did a fabulous job of replacing our defective Zirco service panel with a newer, bigger one. Not only did he do a great job technically, but he patiently handled all the back and forth bureaucracy with Edison and the city inspector. Gerry is a great guy - a pleasure to deal with and honest, too! I couldn't find a record of a check I'd written to him, but Gerry insisted that I had paid him more than I thought I had. He was right - I'd written the check from a different account. I highly, highly recommend Thistle Electric!!

Gerry has worked in our home twice now. First, he wired our home for four wall mounted flat screen televisions. Second, he wired our home for four wall mounted light fixtures. Gerry is meticulous and conscientious. He takes great time and care in making sure that all his work is done to perfection. Included in his excellent work is his insistance on leaving your home clean and neat. I found Gerry to be honest, reasonablly priced and no upselling involved. In a time where it is difficult to find honest and relible contractors, Gerry is a breath of fresh air. Gerry and Francisco are the absolute best gems! They were both highly efficient in upgrading our old panel from 60 amp to 200 amp. DWP requested the upgrade to run up to the roof line and without hesitation Gerry handled the request without a problem. They did such a fabulous job! Now we're able to run our powersaw without it blowing a fuse anymore.

They also ran a wire to our backyard for our jacuzzi hook-up. The jacuzzi delivery team were extremely impressed by the quality and pristine work on the hook-up and installation of the spa pack.

Everything is also properly permitted, thanks to Gerry's highly ethical work values.

Gerry is such a pleasure to work with! We had two light fixtures that haven't worked since we moved in (over two years ago!) and I finally decided I would call an electrician to fix both. I am so glad I found Thistle Electric. The repairs took two visits (due to ordering parts) and his follow up was wonderful. He kept in touch with me to narrow the window of his arrival time, quickly fixed a malfunctioning outdoor light, and diagnosed the problem with a cranky doorbell (which will need to be replaced) - all on New Year's Eve. Even though the job went beyond his estimate, he stayed firm to his price. Gerry and his team are masters in their craft. Not only did they correct the previously shoddy work, but they went above and beyond to ensure the work done was of the highest quality and no mess was left behind.

Even though they are extremely busy and have other work booked, the communication never falters and Gerry does not keep you hanging. He will call or text to let you know if there are any delays, but he got the job done on schedule, at budget and the end result was perfection.
