I contacted Thistle Electric about a Tesla charger Install. They called me back quickly, walked me through the details, and gave me a rough estimate over the phone. I also received quotes from other contractors and Thistle Electric's price was good. The install went well, works great, and looks nice. When I had the final inspection the inspector commented about the nice work. I am very happy.

Gerry was extremely professional and SUPER patient with me when I had to keep postponing the work! We made about 5 different appointments that for one reason or another had to be rescheduled. When he finally came out, he let me know exactly what needed to be done and gave me the pricing which was VERY reasonable! I left him and his crew a key so they could come into the house and get the work done. I came home and it was like they were never here, except for everything that needed to be done was done! They covered up some exposed wires on the outside of the house, put in an outlet in my son's room for his baby monitor, and replaced a chandelier with a flush fit LED light that was hooked up to a dimmer switch. Lastly, he made sure to add an outdoor outlet at the front of the house to make sure that my Ring camera light will work perfectly!

I would HIGHLY recommend these guys for anything you need! They'll get the job done and their prices won't break the bank!

Had an electric panel upgrade done and everyone was great from start to finish. Jerry took the time to explain each step of the process, explained what he needed from me and each step of the process. and got the work done quickly and at a great price. I found Thistle Electric through yelp and am happy to say that they were very bit as good as the other reviewers said! Thistle Electric installed two NEMA 14-50 outlets in my garage connected to two Juicebox 240 V, 40 amp electric vehicle (EV) chargers, routed conduit to the other side of the house (60 feet) through attic and ceilings, and installed two 50 amp circuit breakers in my electrical panel. Gerry and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Thistle used emails and texts to communicate and keep me informed of what was going on through the bid process to the final inspection. I had competed the job between three qualified C-10 licensed electrical contractors, and Thistle was the only ones who actually visited my house to see what would be required to get the job done. His bid was not the lowest, but was quite comparable to the other bids. The others may have increased their bid after they started the job and saw what was really required. I selected Thistle, because after talking to Gerry, it was clear that he had done many EV charger installations (hundreds) and had significant tacit knowledge of how to do it right for safety and longevity. It was a day and a half job, and they arrived exactly at the scheduled time each day. Gerry suggested some changes to what I had originally envisioned for installation that improved both safety and aesthetics. For example, the use of metal conduit helps dissipate the heat of running high amperage for many hours. He also made sure that my electrical panel could handle the additional load. Gerry fully explained the work to be done, and how it was going to be done. As was reported by many of the other reviewers, their work is very neat and clean. Only a couple of holes were made and they did an excellent job in patching them. The installation looks awesome! They also cleaned up the garage after the first day of work (and at the end of the job), something my wife appreciated. At the completion of the job, Gerry got a volt meter and took the time to show me that the outlets were wired correctly. Gerry dealt with the city inspector and took him through the job, resulting in an immediate code compliant pass. There was no cost creep, the job was completed for the price quoted. My impression is that Gerry under promises and over delivers. I strongly recommend Thistle Electric, and would definitely use them for electrical work in the future.

Gerry and the team at Thistle Electric are awesome. I would strongly recommend them for your new Tesla or EV charging stations. We have already started our planning with them to come back and install a new main panel for our era 1953 house and get us ready for solar.

We looked at several electricians to come and install our Tesla home charger and Thistle Electric seemed to be very qualified to do the job and had some good reviews. After speaking with Gerry, I could tell that he really knew what he was talking about and Gerry is a master of his trade. He is very familiar with Tesla and how the charging systems work and how to make sure we had what we needed to get our rebates.

Gerry and his team (Thank you Leo) got us our permits, Gerry was there when the city came to do the inspection and it went perfect and it is all singed off in under 5 minutes.

The team that came to the house were very nice, clean, well-spoken and professional. We had almost 100 feet of cable that needed to be run and it was under the house where there is not much room. They did an impeccable job, cleaned up after they were done and came back and triple checked that we were happy with the work. The time and cost estimates were right on the money.

We would strongly recommend Thistle Electric for all your electrical work. We have already recommended Thistle to our friends, family, co-workers and neighbors and as I stated we will be using Thistle for all my electrical work going forward. He is a great find.

I had them install my Tesla Charger. They had a very difficult breaker box to deal (with nothing labeled) and they just got it done. The charger looks great where they put it and has been working great. The whole crew was great to work with and the estimate and scheduling was a breeze.

I highly recommend Thistle Electric! During the big storm that hit during February, the power to the garage and all the bathrooms went out. They were very prompt in replying to my messages. When they arrived, they found the problem right away in the circuit breaker switches, and they replaced the old switches with new ones. They were also very thorough and inspected every outlet in the garage and bathrooms to make sure the power was restored. They also re-attached the garage door to the motor, since I had to open it manually a few times when the power was down. While they were working, they also noticed some black mold growing on the walls due to rain soaking in and notified me about it. They showed me where the water was most likely seeping in from and gave me tips on fixing the problem. They were all very friendly and professional. I'm very happy with their work and definitely recommend them!
