The Team at Theta Electric is no less than fantastic. They have been able to cover both our commercial and residential properties for us and our clients. Their prices have also been competitive. They have all the correct general liability insurance and Florida State license's as required. The turn around time has been nothing but the best. When choosing a Electrician. please consider ""Theta Electric"" their excellent.

Good service done right on the eve of A major holiday - the electrician was polite and courteous- and cleaned up after himself -the work while not inexpensive - was well worth it and I would recommend these folks -

Electrician was prompt, did a good job even though he ran into some problems and cleaned up the work area when he finished. I would definitely use Theta again

We have used Theta Electric twice and have been very happy with the work both times. We initially picked Theta Electric from an Angie's list offer to mount an external power outlet for $99. Calling and setting up the service call was incredibly pleasant and the electrician, Josh, was able to come out quickly. Josh was very professional and polite, listened to my proposal for the outlet, evaluated our (1951) home's electrical status and then made his own suggestions based on our needs. I'm glad he did because he advised me our home, which we had just purchased, did not have a 'whole-home' surge protector. He then completed the job quickly and neatly - even sweeping up after himself.

We liked the first interaction so much that we scheduled another service call, requesting Josh again, to install a second receptacle for new tankless water heater. After explaining my needs, Josh once again suggested a better approach that both saved me money and leveraged an existing, unused power outlet. As with the first visit, the upgrade was handled efficiently and quickly with no issues.

I am happy that I found Theta Electric and am sure we will continue to use them as we remodel our home.

They were very prompt and responsive to start the process. They gave us a competitive rate to upgrade our electrical box and upgrade our wiring for a new start up restaurant. After we agreed on the scope of work and fees, the work started and they were anything but prompt. They would pretty much show up whenever they wanted to show up.

After the work was complete, they sent in an electrician two weeks after they finished their work to do the electrical schedule. They pretty much wrote a bunch of stuff in the electrical panel.

Two months after the work was complete, we realized that the electrical panel (electrical schedule) was labeled completely wrong. We kept having a freezer trip several times a day. I called them several times and they'd show up and say everything is working as designed.

After further investigation and another electrician, it turns out that they actually completely missed running a dedicated outlet for the freezer. I kept asking them to come back and simply upgrade the current breaker that was being utilized for the freezer from a 20amp breaker to a 30 amp breaker and after a month of texting back and forth and asking them when they were going to show up, I had to completely give up on them because they stopped responding to me. Every day, they said, we'll show up in the afternoon and they would never show up. This happened for weeks, until I was just sick and tired of their bullsh!t.

Not only that, but every time I called them to explain the situation and ask for advise, they made it seem like I was committing a crime for contacting them. They were rude, unreliable, and completely unresponsive. After spending over $6k for an electrical project, they still couldn't figure it out. STAY AWAY!! If i could give them zero stars, I would.

expensive. hired them then they kept asking for more money to finish, saying there were ""add-ons"" but they didn't ever finish to where everything was working. finally i hired another electrician to fix some of what they did and things worked ok.

Follow up, I had the pool heater repairman out to my house today, they fixed my pool heater but more importantly they noticed that my new salt chlorinating power center that was hooked up by Theta electric was installed incorrectly, I had to have it fixed all over, it's too bad my electrician couldn't have done it right the 1st time. I think he was to busy trying to figure out how to gouge me for more money, it really pisses me off because I really did it to my self, hiring a company thur Craigs list is often not a very good idea at all

Recently needed an electrician so I looked on craigslist, called Theta electric. They came out as promised on time. We agreed on a price for the job, no where near inexpensive but I needed it done.
Part of the service call included a free evaluation of your homes master circuit breaker box too. I already knew that the complete box needed to be replaced/rewired. In the beginning I had asked the service man to give me a price on redoing the entire box already.
We he was done with everything he evaluated my master circuit breaker box and said it would be $1850.00 (about twice as much as it should be) to redo it completely.
He also told me that he had found a breaker that was bad and needed to be placed, I looked at it and I agreed that it definitely needed to be replaced. He said he could replace it right now for $150.00!

What I said that's a alot on the ridiculous side isn't it. A $150.00 for a $15.00 circuit breaker and $135.00 for labor for 3 min to do job. I guess I had sucker written on my face. Everything was great until he tried too milk me for another $150.00 bucks. I told him I would do it myself and I actually already had the breaker so I put it in before I paid him.
Anyways if you need an electrician steer clear of this shady company, I know I wont be going back
