We scheduled an appointment for some small electrical issues to be resolved. They no showed. I took time off from work to be there. I called to say ""where are you?"" after a half hour. Over an hour later still they called to say they got busy and lost track of time. If you're going to have a business, you need to handle the simple things like keeping a schedule. I'm not wasting anymore time with these characters. If you work for them, start preparing a resume. Zero stars. I don't even know if they're competent. My guess is their 'office staff' is incapable of handling a schedule book. I'm sure Gene is probably talented, but if the office staff isn't scheduling things correctly you are done before you start. If you say you're going to show up, show up! If you say you're going to call, call! It's truly hard to grow a business when the customer's first experience with you is poor.

Late on first day. Called and left several messages. Never called back. Steer clear of Wire Wizard and hire someone else.

Very responsive and quick turnaround. Gene's technicians were right on it and able to troubleshoot our problem in no time and save us from what could have resulted in a house fire. Best of all was the call I got from the owner, Gene after they left to make sure we were satisfied with the work and the electrical problem was resolved. Now that's excellence! Thanks.

At first everything looked great. We called and Gene came to our place to see exactly what we needed done and give a bid. He gave us a good estimate which we accepted and then scheduled a date for him to start the work. He didn't show up on that date and did not call. We called to see if he'd be late, and no answer. We left several messages and finally about two weeks later we got a call from his wife. She said they were behind a bit and would definitely get in contact with us later that day to reschedule and was very sorry about missing our appointment. Never got that call and after leaving several messages, we still have not received a call back.

My opinion, this is a highly disorganized and unprofessional amateur operation. Wire Wizard is a perfect example of the kind of contractor business that gives contractors as a whole a bad and untrusted name. I have no doubt they know how to do the work, and Gene seemed like a very nice guy. I don't think he is a shady person who would try to steal or rob you, But I wouldn't trust them to not cut corners, be honest and upfront about their work or follow through on a job if there were any complications.

Contracting is a difficult job and you have to be a master at shuffling your work load trying to make everyone happy in an unhappy world. I get it! But you have to be able to engage with your customers and have those difficult and often awkward conversations when things don't go as planned. Ignoring and evading them is the easy way out and not the path to a successful and sustainable business. It's an amateur move and reflects the business as a whole. I would definitely steer clear of the Wire Wizard if you can.

Was good in the beginning but now no customer service or loyalty. Guess he got too big for our little community. Maybe new office staff would help. Too bad.

The young man and his friend Nathan did an amazing job for us .

Gene is absolutely outstanding. He's both knowledgeable as an electrician and gives superb customer service as a business owner. I can wholeheartedly recommend him. If he says he can do it, he will. If he has any hesitation, he tells you up front.
