Kurt is extremely busy and for good reason. He is easy to communicate with and fits my small projects in and puts plenty of time away for large multi day projects. Got to give a shout out to Kurt Himler a.k.a. ""The Wire Guy""! Kurt did some electrical work for us @ our condo in Chico. We were really impressed with his work. Not only did Kurt do what we asked of him, he offered some suggestions that would accomplish the same result--that made our project aesthetically pleasing! Every question I asked was answered. In addition you get a little bit more understanding of how electricity works. There was no mess for me to clean up. Kurt is very personable & pleasant to work with. The prices he charges is fair and realistic. Now, for the question you are all wondering? Would I have Kurt back ? @ a ""drop of a hat"" I would!
Lastly, I got a few recommendations for restaurants to try in Chico.

We first called The Wire Guy to switch out some kitchen can lights back when we bought our house in 2011. He was quick, personable, and very fair in his pricing.

We've had him do any number of things since, such as wire a fan to ventilate the attic space, put a whole-house surge protector on the electrical panel, put in separate circuits for the garage refrigerator and freezer, install new can lights in the living room, etc. I enjoy Kurt's humor, and look forward to seeing him whenever we need anything done, electrically.

He even bought my 12-foot fiberglass ladder when I decided I was too old to be up on ladders anymore. I can't recommend ANYone higher than The Wire Guy!

I have used Kurt several times for various installations and most recently a problem with intermittent power outages to several of my outside plugs. I had several other electricians look at this problem without success. Kurt was able to trouble shoot the problem and have it fixed within an hour. He is professional, personable and very reasonable. I highly recommend him. He is my go to electrician from now on
