I called Jon after seeing his stellar reviews here on Yelp, noticing he was nearby in Highland Park, and having another handyman flake out on me. He returned my call the same day and was able to come take care of a couple projects the very next day. In a world of flaky contractors, his great communication skills and follow-through really stand out and set him apart.

He took care of a couple minor things in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price. He's now our first call for any other home improvement projects that drop up. My husband and I are so pleased we found him!

Jonathan and Gary came out did two days of work on an old house I purchased that needed a lot of work. Pricing was honest and fair. Work was done exactly as promised and expected despite many setbacks due to the age of home. Icing on the cake, the house was left cleaner than it originally was after the work. Cant beat that.

Jon was super helpful with the reflooring of my garage. He was easy to contact and setting up a time was a breeze. When I told him about what I wanted to do he gave a lot of insightful suggestions that helped me better understand what he would be doing. He also pointed out observations of my house that I did not notice before and this helped better understand the history of my house. Overall, very knowledgable and dedicated to the job. Jon was really easy to contact and arrange a time with - I'm sure he thought this job sounded pretty simple. I had a couple of outside security lights to change out and one security light that I knew would be a challenge due to where it is and how high it is.
Jon showed up on time and assessed the job - we talked about the possibility of some timers, and he made a quick Home Depot run. Then Jon found some of the quirky things about this house and the wiring. It took a few hours but I now have all of the outside lights working and I couldn't be happier. This job was more complicated than my description - Jon works really hard and his prices are very reasonable. He cleaned up his work and more - We had a windstorm earlier this week that left leaves everywhere - Jon left my yard cleaner than it was when he got there!
