D S.I had a stove top burner that wouldn't turn on. For Ted, this job was neither too small nor too difficult. He let me know up front the cost of trying to fix it. That was a fair price. Ted took his time to make sure the burner was clean and back to normal. He even advised me how the problem happed and hence how I could prevent this from recurring.
Before I reached out to Ted, I called a different handyman and he wouldn't fix stove burners because it is beyond his skill set. Well, our go-to-handyman from now on is Ted. He fixes burners and a whole lot of other household repair jobs.
