Ted did another outstanding job for me at my six unit condos. He replaced a garbage disposal and repaired outside door frames that were damaged from moisture and termite.

He is trustworthy gentleman with full of integrity.

I strongly recommend Ted to others who can use a reliable and competent handyman.

Mediocre work + dishonesty = not recommended

Last month we had Ted from the Response team install a bathroom ventilation fan. He charged $250 labor and & $134 parts. What we got is a fan that is not properly sealed around the edges--causing moisture to leak into the attic, and a loose grill that is always at the risk of falling down. This is all because Ted didn't bother to modify the opening in the ceiling dry wall. See picture.

Normally we would call Ted and ask him to come back and fix it. But we can't, because Ted also overcharged us for the parts. We asked him to purchase a $134 fan at Home Depot. But once at the store, he called to say that another unit was more suitable. We agreed, but at the end he still charged us $134. A later online search revealed that Home Depot's price for the unit he bought is $89, not $134. Ted pocketed the difference. Would you ask such a handyman back?

Innocent mistake? I don't think so. When I later ask for the receipt through texting (which I should have done before he left, my bad), Ted first responded evasively, then went silent.

In short, exercise extreme caution when dealing with the Response Team. Or better yet, don't deal with them at all!

Ted is an amazing handyman who has knowledge and skills to fix ANYTHING. He messaged me back within 30 minutes after I contacted him on Yelp and came to my place on the same day to give me a quote. It was Sunday evening.

He fixed (a)
1: garbage disposal that hasn't functioned for a couple of years
2: ceiling lights in the kitchen (electrical issue)
3: outlets with no power in the bathroom
4: chipped window frame in the bathroom
5. hole in the wall

I am very satisfied with his service and I will definitely contact him again when I am ready to upgrade my flooring and install blinds.

Ted's was awesome. They are really busy so make sure you try to call them early. Ted came out on his day off to service my house. Had to redo many little things in the bathroom such as the vent, window, tub, sinks, etc. He also serviced our common area in our small community. Would use him for our next projects. Highly recommend!

I had a fan that went out, but I couldn't figure out why (Didn't seem to be the chain or the fan). He went straight into debugging the issue. He walked me through each step he was thinking and taking. After tracing the wires and testing different sockets, he found the short quickly thereafter. I no longer have to live in the dark!

He did a great job replacing the kitchen and bathroom faucets/handles. He even added some electrical cover plates and switches that were missing (for free).

My riser that receives the main electrical line and sends it to the electric box became detached from the wall of our house. The only thing keeping it from falling was the fact that it was bolted to the box, which in turn was showing signs of detaching from the wall. I called the Response Team and Ted answered and had me text him pictures. He then texted back a description of a plan for re-securing the pole. I liked his responsiveness and that he was already thinking ahead. He arrived on time the following evening, assessed what needed to be done, made a trip to the hardware store for the correct bolts, fought against the tension placed on the pole by the main line, and, after some effort, was able to finally secure the pole. What a relief! I hope to use him and his company for future home projects.

This job was tricky with a lot of weird things done by the previous owner. They had to do some serious on-the-fly problem solving and did an amazing job!

NO RESPONSE. How does this company have all these great reviews yet they don't follow up with me to come out and fix my home!?

I sent an email with what I needed done. I got a response within minutes asking me for my name and address/contact number. That was 3 weeks ago. Still no follow through.
