I had high hopes that Richard would be able to help. Talking with him on the phone he sounded like a good guy and like a person who really wanted to help people with electrical needs. He said he could help me but that he was working on a big project and that he would come over to my house after he was done. It got late and he never contacted me so I reached out to him and he said that it was taking longer to finish the project and that he would either be very late or maybe not make it at all. He could have at least had reached out to me and let me know. I understand things happen but he needs to communicate with a customer. But I wanted to give him a chance and he said for sure he can make it the next day before 10:00 a.m. but he never showed up nor did he contact me. He completely blew me off. I texted him and asked him if he was still coming but he he didn't show any professional courtesy to respond. I can see in the reviews that this same thing happened to somebody else. Why he decides to help some people but then blow off others I don't know. So if he doesn't show up he probably won't be there.

Richard. He deserves a round of applause. We weren't able to use him because we had an emergency and he was booked- but he took the time to explain, talk to me and the home owner, and look at pictures of the problem. He was down to earth and thorough. He took the time. TIME!!! To help us! It was amazing to find someone kind and knowledgeable, he was the only electrician who asked for pictures and details. Richard is an awesome electrician! We needed to change some outlets in our kitchen and bathroom to GFI's and needed help getting thru some old wiring to change a light fixture. Had an issue with my doorbell and reached out to the Plug Dr to take a look. Called Richard on Saturday and set up an appointment for Monday afternoon. Come Monday, 45 minutes after the appointment time I texted Richard and he let me know he was stuck in downtown LA and wouldn't be able to make it. Okay, I understand things happen, though it would have been nice to have received a phone call. We rescheduled for the next day at 4. Next day, he hadn't shown up by 5:00 PM. So I texted him - and no response.

I understand that things come up or perhaps he just didn't want to take my job. And those are all ok with me. However, I would expect businesses to honor their appointments and give notice if they're not able to make them. My wife and I specifically changed our schedules around to accommodate Richard not once, but twice.

Richard provided fast and professional service. My mom had a few outlets that were not working in her house. I found Richard here on Yelp, he came on the same day I called, assessed the problem and determined what was causing the problem. He gave my mom a great price for the work that needed to be done. Richard is very professional and does excellent neat work. I can honestly say Richard is our first choice when we need an electrician. My mom's house is in need of a total re-wire and Richard will be our got to electrician. Richard definitely has very affordable price's for the work he does. Thank you Richard.

Richard the Plug Dr. was awesom. He meticulously replaced 11 outlets and 10 single, double, and triple switches. He did all of this on a Saturday and waited till I got home from work to start the job. He stayed till nearly midnight to finish the job. I highly recommend the Plug Dr. for any of your electrical needs. Very professional, honest, and hard working young man. Thank you Richard.

Richard is very professional, and provided excellent work. I had several plugs that could not hold anything plugged in. When blow drying my hair I would constantly have to stop to plug the blow dryer back in because it had fallen out the socket. I finally decided to invest in new plugs and I thought who better than to call the Plug Dr.! Prices are very affordable, the work was done neatly, in a timely manner and I am completely happy with my new plugs. You would be really surprised what a difference new plugs make in the home. I encourage anyone who is experiencing the same issues I had to definitely call the Plug Dr.
