Called these guys based on the good reviews. The electrician came out, and I went over the history of the kitchen remodel (from the February freeze a year or so ago). He didn't look at any of the switches, or the outlets above the counters, just the box. He explained that the box was old, and he wouldn't look at anything unless the box was replaced for the tune of $5200 or $6800, depending on which option we selected.

I called another electrician who asked if the lights worked before the new cabinets were hung. The repair, including swapping out a 220 circuit breaker with a 110 circuit breaker, was $240. The electrician rewired the outlet at no charge.

The lesson I learned, call older people since they have the experience to troubleshoot.

Staff was friendly, showed up same day. (Shawn) fixed the issue and answered all questions. Even though I just had an small problem some other places wanted to quote me $125-$250 just for showing up before even identifying the problem or answer any questions. I was appreciative of their low service fee and able to diagnose and communicate with us upfront. Always great to deal with a honest business from price quotes to service. Would definitely work with them in the future!

5+ stars for The Local Electrician! I called to get an estimate to have a ceiling fan installed because I was stumped. The electrician called me back in less than 5 minutes. He asked great questions and explained to me he thought I had everything I needed to install myself. I checked after we hung up and he was absolutely correct! I truly appreciate that he took the time to explain everything to me, did not push a ""sale"" and was supportive of me doing it myself.
Next time I have electrical needs I will 100% contact them to do the work. This is an honest company and I would have no hesitation hiring them in the future! The way the handled my question shows me they have integrity and that is very much appreciated.

The Local Electrician team did an outstanding job getting our home up to code after a recent home purchase. They went through the inspection report with me and being our new home is 20 years old, there were a few things that needed updated.

We took the opportunity to upgrade some lighting and fans they did a great job with those upgrades. They were very responsive to our needs and timing and did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical needs.
