Thank you NextDoor for recommending Doody of The Electric Lion. We were having a little issue with an older fluorescent light fixture. I called Doody and set up an appointment. He let me know that he was on his way and was on time. He diagnosed the problem quickly. Had the part, fixed it and done. If you want a professional, efficient experience you need to call Doody. Doody was a real find , I saw a review on Nextdoor Neighbor .com called him. Doody came over within couple hours gave us a reasonable estimate, we hired Doody . Doody did a great job hanging chandelier, sconce and installed a dimmer. Great personality, very professional, very good electrician. Hire Doody you will thank me.

I called Doody and he got back to me quickly. He quoted me thru text, and said he would come the next day. He texted me that day (yesterday) and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was knowledgeable, honest, and a great guy. He was done is 15 minutes, and I was very pleased. He also loved my furbaby, and Lucky loved him too. That's always a good thing. He's also local, and I always try to use local businesses. I will use Doody of the Electric Lion, for any future electrical issues I have. I highly recommend him.

I had some complicated electrical issues. Doody promptly responded, did an excellent job and charged me very fairly.
I had some additional work for him that he talked me into hiring a handyman or my gardener to perform because it was easy enough for them and Doody didn't want to charge me electrician rates for jobs that could be performed easily and much cheaper by others.

We called Doody as we were moving out of our house to troubleshoot a potential problem. He immediately made time for us outside of business hours. He found that all was fine and took the time to show us exactly how things worked. He didn't even want to charge for his valuable time! Thank you to Doody and his lovely wife for such amazing work. During our backyard remodel, old electrical work was damaged and needed repair. As it needed to be done immediately for the project to continue, our landscaper got some unreasonable quote. As Doody was so highly recommended, we called him and that very afternoon, he came out, assessed the problem, gave us a quote for a third of what the landscaper did and got the job done the next day. He also helped us prepare the lines for things that we can add on after the backyard is completed. I would highly recommend The Electric Lion and plan to use them again for future projects. Never have I seen such an honest man with such a high work ethic. Doody and his wife, Sigalit came to my house to see what I needed to have done. What a wonderful couple! So nice, warm and friendly. To make a very long story short, he told me the correct way to accomplish my goal and suggested that my handyman, who had started the job but didn't know how to complete it, do it the way he suggested and it would be less expensive for me. When they left I was sure I was going to hire him. His price was fair and he really knows his stuff! I called my handyman to tell him what Doody said that Doody's idea was excellent and he said he could do it for me at a cheaper price. I will use my handyman this time but will call Doody for any other electrical work I need. Thanks Doody!

Big big fan of Doody and Electric Lion! He installed some outdoor lighting for us and he did a terrific job artfully working thru our old (outdated) system and complementing it with a new one.
