The Electric Connection was referred to me by a friend who owns many properties in the Santa Monica area. Because of my friend's experience that he had with this company, they were the only electricians I called to install lights, ceiling fans, and switches into my newly purchased condo. They quoted me pricing and time needed to complete the job over the phone. When the electricians (Manny and Arthur) arrived on the day and at the time we agreed on, they did everything in the time they quoted for the price they quoted. No surprises! They were very meticulous in respecting my belongings by covering everything up with drop cloths, keeping dust at a minimum and cleaning up after themselves to where you would not even know they were there except for the fact that there were new lights and ceiling fans installed. In fact, after they were done with the job, I thought of a couple more jobs for them and am bringing them back next week.

I highly recommend this company for any electrical work in your house. Very professional work.

JC came to my apartment today and did a great job. He had another guy with him too but I can't remember his name. (I'm sorry) They were both very polite and made sure to follow up with me and keep me posted on what was going on. If anyone I know ever needs an electrician I will recommend the electric connection. I found Electric Connection through Home Depot's contracting services. JC and George came out to West LA to install a ceiling fan in one room and some recessed lighting in another. They were great to work with and really took the time to understand how I wanted the lighting to look. I purchased the materials for the job in advance and they installed everything. The pricing was competitive, and I was very pleased that their service included patching all the holes they had made to install the wiring. This is not the practice for all electricians; another company I'd called told me that they did no patching afterwards. (I was still responsible for sanding, texturing, and painting.) My family and I are very happy with the installation and the service. I plan to call EC in the future should any electrical issues arise.

Experiences with them in Culver City and La Crescenta were great; quality work and reasonable prices.

Experience in Monterey Park wasn't so hot. Different folks in the San Gabriel Valley and in several occasions I felt that the quality of the work was OK and the prices were unreasonably high.

So if you live in the Westside or in Glendale, I'd give a recommendation, but not in the San Gabriel Valley.

We phoned The Electric Connection mid-may to have some ceiling fans installed and one specifically that needed to be RE-installed as a completely bass-ackwards, wannabe electrician butchered a former job. They promised us service within couple of weeks. We were fine with that, but within three days we were told that they had an opening even sooner than promised and could get to us within two days instead. That was nice. Omar and ""the other guy"" showed up (ok, I forget his name, but he was just as awesome as Omar) and got right to work. They were both polite, courteous, and worked at lightning speed. They got here at around 2pm and had all the new ceiling fans installed AND the screwed up job of my Great room completely and beautifully repaired and reinstalled before 6pm the same day. The job looks totally professional and we could not be happier with the work done and the pricing is reasonable. We now have their phone number available on our refrigerator for when we will absolutely use this service again!
