I couldn't be happier. I've been looking to install an EVSE at our condo for awhile, but always seemed to get the runaround from other electricians. JC at the The Electric Connection repurposed our unused 30A dryer outlet for a Clipper Creek EVSE in about 2 hours. We're now up and running with Level 2 charging. The entire outfit is highly professional, and they know what they're doing with EVSEs. Highly recommended.

I Purchased a device from the sense.com website to monitor my electrical use. It was something special, not a normal request for an electrician. When I spoke to Kim regarding the device he said he knew exactly what needed to be done. I set up the appointment and Hugo and His apprentice Hugo showed up on time. The device was installed in the electrical panel, the panel was crowded but Hugo was able to install and getting working on the first try. The estimate was exactly what was charged. Highly recommend these guys.

After many weeks of thorough research screening highly reputable contractors, I decided to hire The Electric Connection to completely rewire our 1920s home because of their experience with knob & tube wiring, stellar customer service, honest prices, and payment terms.

Hugo was the project manager who came out to our house and took a thorough look to give us an estimate. Since this place had not done any electrical upgrades since the '70s, it required more than just replacing old wires. For example, pull chain lighting is now prohibited and must be activated with a light switch. The price we were quoted was more reasonable than others and it even included a rough patching of holes. I had a lot of questions throughout the process and Hugo was very patient and responsive answering them.

Our electricians for the job were Julio and Willy and I cannot say enough good things about them. They arrived promptly every morning, getting down to work in no time and asked how I wanted things done every step of the way. Plaster walls are difficult to work with, so they only made small holes if necessary and found clever ways to fish the wires through. The rough patching was so good, it's barely noticeable now. They both worked tirelessly and stayed late on some days to make sure we had power for the evening. The project took six days with city inspection coming out on the last day and remarked what a great job they did.

The office staff was also a pleasure to work with; handling the logistics of pulling the permit and scheduling inspection. Overall, I am more than satisfied with choosing The Electric Connection and highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their old wiring.

In my business as California HandyGirl, I've used and referred these guys several times because I don't do electrical myself. They are just fantastic and never disappoint. I first learned of Electric Connection from a former client of mine, who is a long-time customer of theirs. Now I know why! They are very responsive, book rather quickly, show up when scheduled and even let you know about a 1/2 hour ahead so that you know they are on their way. I especially like that they let you know exactly what the issue is and if something further is needed, they discuss it with you first with cost details. I love vendors like this, and I highly recommend them!

Purchased a Bolt EV and needed a level 2 charging (240V) installed on the house near the driveway.

Called on Wednesday. Spoke to one person who explained the cost schedule based on panel, distance between the changer and the main panel. I agreed and was passed to some one to schedule. Was able to get a Friday appointment at 8AM. The guys came out sized up the job and gave me the final estimate. It matched exactly what I was told over the phone. The guys went to work running the cables and attaching the EVSE to the house. They obviously had done many of these because they knew what questions to ask. In addition I asked them to add a ZigBee load control device to the EVSE so that I could monitor the energy usage through my Glendale Water & Power smart meter. The guys did a really nice job installing the EVSE on the house. I am glad since it is visible to people visiting. The cleaned up and left me a happy customer.

When I have any electrical job I use these guys exclusively. Never a bad job from them.

I bought a Tesla, and picked The Electric Connection from Tesla's list of authorized electricians, largely because they are so highly rated on Angie's List. The installation proved to be extremely complicated because of the way our electrical system is set up, but we are so impressed with The Electric Connection! We are working directly with J.C. Olivera, and he is so patient and knowledgeable that we wish all the tradespeople we deal with were like him. He takes all the time that is needed, explains everything clearly and thoroughly, works with the in-house techs (Nick Herran, in our case) to find an efficient and affordable solution, and is just a pleasure to deal with. Really, everyone we've encountered here had made this job a lot more pleasant. We will certainly use The Electric Connection in the future.

I am very pleased with the work The Electrical Connection did for me. They were on time, both of the guys they sent were polite and super nice, they completed the work quickly, and they left the work area clean and in perfect condition. You just can't ask for more than that!!! They also let me know the new code for outdoor electrical outlets which I appreciated because I am currently not up to code on several other outlets I have. They were also really nice to my dog which is always nice.
