We have an older home built in 1950, all the outlets were 2 prongs and light switches were also original.
Shon came out and suggested we replace them all with new ones because of the hazards of fire. We agreed and the work began a couple days later. Lucky for us, Shon made us aware of the fire danger as there were a couple outlets that were behind things that had got so hot it melted part of the cover. That's scary to think about our house burning down. Now we feel safer.
We so appreciate the Team of Technicians who worked on our project they were very positive, polite, respectful,

I just completed a huge electrical upgrade project with The Electric Company, and I was very impressed by their professionalism, patience, flexibility, and reasonableness.

My project was very big and complicated. They needed to work closely with PG&E to install a new panel and upgrade my service to 320A, replace old 200A panel with a subpanel, run new lines to barn and front gate, add a generator backup panel for main circuits, relocate solar boxes... it was a monster!

The first company I had talked to about the project wanted way too much to do it. The second company I tried didn't want to deal with PG&E. The third company I tried just wanted to tell me what they would do, and wasn't willing to work with me to figure out the best solution.

So I was initially extremely pleased working with Rob, and then with Daric, because they were willing to listen to my concerns, suggest their ideas, and ultimately work with me to figure out the best way to tackle my project. And then they gave me a price that was totally fair for what I was asking.

The most challenging part of my project was the PG&E coordination. PG&E has developed a reputation in the Tracy area about being difficult to work with... electricians have to go out of their way to jump through PG&E's hurdles... which is why a couple other electricians I had talked to weren't willing to work with PG&E (or wanted to charge me significantly extra to do so). My project did serve to reinforce this reputation (ex: ""PG&E inspector will arrive sometime between 8 and 5"")... but I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and patience that Daric and the technicians exhibited in response.

I also appreciated the quality work and flexibility of the technicians (led by Bruce). They made sure to check in with me on the way I wanted things, and were willing to make adjustments as we went. For example, originally they planned to add the generator panel to the interior wall of our garage... but that location would have ended up being in a place where it would stick out and we'd run into it... so they adjusted the plan to install an outdoor one instead). And they put time and care into making it look nice, hiding away wires nicely, etc.

Ultimately, I think the most valuable thing to me was that they were willing to listen to my concerns and work with me to deliver a quality job that met my needs. It's this willingness to listen and try to address my concerns that I think made working with them so much better than the experience I've had with other contractors... and I highly recommend them for this reason.

If you're like me you probably read too many reviews on companies or services and then can't end your making a decision. Let me save you the trouble, the short of it is: The electric company and the service they provided was professional, thorough, honest and prompt. If you want more info, read on homeowners.

I am currently working with the electric company on upgrading my main service panel and doing some upgrades in my kitchen. They finished the kitchen while we are waiting for the permit for the service panel and they did a fantastic job in the kitchen. They even covered up a couple holes they didn't make, I had to clean them up a little, but they did a pretty good job. From the get-go, I was working with one of the owners, Rob who is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything they would do and why they would do it also, what they wouldn't do and why they wouldn't do it. I ended up getting a total of 3 bids for the work to be done and the electric company ended up coming in at a very good price point comparatively. Will be sure to use them again once we go to upgrade more of the home and definitely would recommend them to anyone reading this.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Rob the owner came out first and gave me a quote for all the work. He was very helpful with the ideas I had. Next I had Bruce and Gabriel come out fot the work. These two were great guys. Very respectful of my home and also very knowledgable with all phases of there work. I highly recomend this entire crew. Save yourself and avoid them.
We had given them contract to upgrade our service to 200 amps + upgrade the sub-panel, and run 125 amps service line between the main panel and sub-panel. This was all licensed, permitted work and details were captured in the contract.

They didn't upgrade the line between the main panel and sub-panel to the required load. The breaker between the panels is still kept to 70amps. One different electrician visited my home and raised concern that the service line is not adequate enough for the load. I requested the project related details from Daric - but no success.
I reached out to Daric over multiple emails and even called the company to come and fix the problem - but they have just chosen to ignore this.

Also while performing the upgrades they broke few things: They broke the ceiling drywall, they broke the vent screen.

Robert came out & clearly explained all my electrical options as they pertained to my electrical issues which allowed me to make the ""best"" decision...I really appreciated Robert's honesty & time he had taken with me to trouble shoot my electrical issue. Robert was ""spot-on"" in his diagnosis of my GFI plug newly tripping every time I used my BBQ grill...he told that that was his suspicion but gave me other options to try out before I had to replace my grill. After doing all the other things Robert suggested, I did have to replace my grill, Robert called that ""spot-on"". I replaced my grill & no more electrical issue since! Thank you Robert, you were AMAZING!! Oh & he didn't charge me anything for that consultation either! Robert's very knowledgeable & great people skills too!
