This is an updated review from my previous post. Rob of The Electric Company contacted me within the hour to stop by and reassess what the electrical issue was with our HVAC unit. Once he figured out what the root cause was he scheduled his crew to come out to our home the following morning to get things back up and running. This review is on scheduling/ appointment aspect of this business.
I scheduled an appointment for 1/24 between 8 and 12. Most business give a time window to allow for flexibility. I was supposed to get a automated text when Deric was 30 minutes out. I received the automated text at 11:55! While I realize he may have been held up at the previous job, basic time management would dictate calling the customer and letting them know you won't be there in time.
Deric offered to come out today....he never showed up. A bit disappointed. I will update this review based on the work and price quoted.

Two fans mounted from an 18ft+ ceiling as well as removing an old box light fixture in the kitchen area and replacing it with several cam lights. The ordeal with this electrical contractor started almost a year ago when i first bought my house. I am new to Tracy area and the google searches led to me them.

The first work i had them do was installed recessed lights (can/pot lights) in some rooms. When Derick the owner came by to give me an estimate, he went on for a few minutes how ""these other lights flicker"" and how his company uses Halo brand lights which are a little expensive but do not flicker. On the day of installation, he brought over a different brand of lights and said ""Halo lights flicker a lot"" and these are better. I did not think much of it. i should have.

The second task was installation of three pendants, two chandeliers and a fan. And boy oh boy , what an incompetent and outright dangerous crew they sent.
1. the crew installed the pendants at the wrong spot and the correction meant ugly holes (4 of them) in the ceiling.
2. the crew destroyed one of my smart switches which was not only out of their way, but also completely unrelated to the appliance they were working on. For an electrician i expected them to know how a three-way-switch works. I was wrong.
3. the ceiling fan they installed never worked. i contacted the place i bought it from, they sent me a new controller. I hired another electrician to get it installed for me (it is on a 16ft high ceiling). Turns out the fan and older controller were fine - The Electric company electricians did not connect wires correctly. Literally.
4. When the chandeliers were installed, i did not have the complete set of down-rods (due to pandemic shipment delays). While giving me the quote, Darick the owner mentioned whenever the new downrods arrive, he will be able to get them installed as part of the initial contract. I made a huge mistake of trusting him - he immediately turned on his words when i called him back after the down rods arrived.
5. The can lights they installed, well, you guessed it - flicker all the time.They tried to unsuccessfully blame every little thing through some weird theories. It was their wiring at the end of the day that was messed up.
6. They sent another crew to correct everything (which the obviously failed to do). The weirdest part was the second crew even literally while looking at the issues the previous crew had made, continued saying they don't see a mistake. This crew also switched out an outlet the previous crew had burnt without telling me. I noticed this and asked them about it only to get vague responses.

I had to pay another electrician (AC/DC Electric) to correct all their mistakes. Maybe my experience was exceptionally bad - but i would highly advice talking to other contractors if you want a better experience. The whole thing reminded me very much of a used-car salesman experience - you are always left feeling you are being cheated and 9/10 times, you are being cheated.

Exercise caution with this contractor.
