A light fixture fell in our laundry room this morning and was hanging from the wires.
I called Duke Energy and they sent out Robert from Terry's Electric this afternoon. He took out the old fixture and threw it in the dumpster. He then installed a new fixture. Robert wore a mask, was quick and courteous.

Showed up within the quoted window. Found and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes. Guy was quick, informative, and let me know what he was doing at all times. We had a different electrician come by two weeks ago that stayed for 3 hours and never figured out the problem. Will definitely call Terry's again for future work!!!

I needed some light fixtures hung and the scheduling and electricians were great. I asked the electricians how I should pay and they told me an invoice would be mailed. I never got an invoice but did get a phone call stating my bill was 30 days late, I explained I never got a bill, apologized for the confusion (chalked it up to a third party mail issue), immediately paid the bill over the phone and moved on. Three months later I got a past due amount and the bill in the mail. I double check my statement - and sure enough I see the payment went through back when I initially paid it several months ago. I called Terry's, sent them a screenshot of the statement and was told I would get a call back when this was resolved. I'll be going elsewhere for my electrical needs.

Found out about TEI driving through my neighborhood. Talked to employee, Luis, at job site and he agreed to do two jobs at my home and did not finish a job or return money. Claimed he needed to retrieve a ladder to switch out a fixture so he would need come back. The next day he tells me that it was currently in use, and goes on to say he wasn't sure if he would be able to get it at all. I ask him to return a portion of $200 I paid since he was only able to do a portion of the work. This turned into him telling me that the work that was completed was worth $200. When I informed him I would file a complaint, he responded: ""You're f**king with my beans and if I get fired, we're gonna have to take it to the street."" I DO NOT TAKE KINDLY TO BEING CURSED AT OR THREATENED. I dont know what kind of people they hire. I would stay very clear Terry's Electric, Inc. They clearly don't do a great job training or clearing the employees they send into people's homes. I'm also making a complaint to my home builder and HOA.

Called them out to check on why a tenants light did not come on in the kitchen and dining room ,, diagnosis was dead light bulbs. I could understand the trip charge basic labor fee of $85 but they charged $120. Stating that they were there for 1 1/2 hours . TENANT ADVISED IT WAS 20 MINUTES. really ???????//

Usually I really like Terry's Electric, unfortunately this time I have to write a bad review. A few months ago they installed a pool heater for me. Today the circuit breaker started tripping every few hours. I called them and they won't come out for 3 days. My biggest concern is what's causing the issue. Is it even safe at the present time? Could a fire be started? I offered to pay overtime or whatever is needed. They said that's the earliest we can be there. I wonder if the person on the phone was new? This is so not like them. Now I can't use my hot tub and I had a party planned for the weekend.

I located my electrical problem to one outlet but was unable to fix. So, Luis came over and quickly fixed the problem. He was a great and friendly guy. However, the reps at the office gave misleading information on their rates. A 5 minute job cost $100. WOW!
