Our AC had stopped working during the middle of the week. Every time we turned it on it would only get hotter. We decided To call Terrell brothers since (thats who we always call) and we have completely regretted it. They sent a technician out on a Friday ...that definitely did not know how to do his job. Once the tech came to the house (I assumed the office told him what was going on) but he asked what was going on, as if he didnt know why he came to my house. After we discussed what has been going on before talking to me about what he was going to do.... he kept The power to the AC on and decided to mess with the wires. As I'm working at home I hear a BOOM and sounded like air shooting out. Lo and behold he tried to ""fix"" the ground wire while there was still power going to it. Once the tech came back inside he did not speak a WORD about the boom that just happened outside, just kinda crept past me to walk back out to his truck. Once he walked back into my house I had asked him if the boom was a good or a bad boom... and he responds with ""well it was bad, your compressor just exploded. Your gonna need a whole new compressor or a new unit."" and shrugged it off. Decided to get a ladder and go up into my attic (to double check he didn't mess something with my heater up) to come back down and tell me that he will have the office do some research on new compressors and units. Before leaving he proceeded to tell me that even though my AC didnt work, I had heat and if he didn't realize we live in GA. I don't need the heat. ? after all this the ""tech"" had left my house and left me with a broken AC and said ""hey you have heat!"" ... Once I had finally received a call from the office the lady I spoke with she gave me a huge attitude... I had tried explaining that one of their techs just left me without AC (who wouldn't be mad?) but she didn't wanna hear it because the tech had a whole different story for her. Next day, we had opened our breaker door to find the labels for the AC torn off and the breaker for the broken AC was still ON! The ""company"" wouldnt even help us with THEIR f*ck up they told us to pound some sand and deal with it. Will never EVER call this company for anything again. They shouldn't hire dumbasses to touch live wires, and should actually hire people that know how to do their job.
Thank you Terrell Brothers for leaving me without AC in 85° heat. You truly suck.
