We worked with Tellos, specifically Juan, and had a great experience!

My neighbor found Juan on thumbtack and he had great reviews so she asked him for a quote. She ran the idea by me and I also decided to look into installing lighting. We received about 5 quotes, however Juan was the nicest, his pricing was comparable to the others if not better than some, and he never pressured us into using his services. Some of the other contractors were a bit aggressive with getting us to use them.

While we were looking into lighting installation, we found out we needed to replace our roof, because of finances, this delayed us a bit and Juan was very understanding while other contractors were not.

Juan installed lighting in both of our units. It took a total of four days which was the exact estimate we received. We each had the following completed in our units: 6 lights in the living room with a dimmer, a replacement light for the hallway (previously canned, we wanted canless) demolition of a fluorescent light, 4 lights with a dimmer in the kitchen, and a sink light with a separate switch. My neighbor also had Juan install an outside switch for her patio that is water protected and he installed an extra outlet behind her television so she could hide her wires.

Juan was very patient. He worked with us to get the exact placing we wanted. And after my neighbor wanted to change her placement, he obliged and did just that. He gave us his professional opinion but he also listened to our feedback and concerns.

Juan's quote was exactly what he charged us. There were no extra costs or unexpected things that came up.

Juan worked diligently all day, he didn't even take a lunch. He arrived on time and cleaned up after his work. We did have to clean a little after but that's expected with all the work completed. Juan also put tarps on all our furniture including a wall painting to prevent dust from getting out our things.

Also I want to mention how knowledgeable Juan is. We were going to install a switch outside like my neighbor. However we told Juan we only wanted the switch for a car charger. Juan could have just said okay and installed the switch to get our money. However, he explained why the switch for our car wouldn't be great. Juan was honest when he didn't need to be. He was willing to install the switch but didn't want us to pay for something we'd eventually have to change.

Regarding the lights. We love them. I don't have photos of them fully, but I'll attach what we have. It really made a difference in our home and we're thrilled. For the living room my fiancee wanted a warmer light tone with he wanted a white tone for the kitchen.

Overall Juan and Tellos did a great job. We would highly recommend Juan and we'll definitely use him again!
