Great work from Kevin, thank you and appreciated. He also proactively found that our smoke detectors were very out of date and replaced them.

The missing star is due the scheduling department via Yelp;

""There is no chaarge [sic] to get us out there, if the Tech has to do any type of troubleshooting, there would be a charge of $149""

I had understood ""no charge to get us out there"" to mean that there is no service charge. The ""any type of troubleshooting"" sounded like a minimum that would apply towards repairs. The final cost was well beyond that but it turns out that $149 was in *addition* to the repairs, not *applied towards* any repairs.

Partly my bad for making assumptions instead of clarifying, however ""There is no chaarge [sic] to get us out there"" is not true and should be removed from their scheduling department's communication script. I didn't invite them over for tea :) haha so of course there is going to be work involved.

I consider myself to be very lucky to have chosen TE Certified Electricians to do inspections and installations in my home. Their customer service is impeccable. Adam Stanton is a phenomenal electrician! He is truly professional, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. He explains what he is doing, answers all questions, and offers information and suggestions to consider. The charges were reasonable, and his work was excellent. I highly recommend TE and especially Adam Stanton.

Jonathan Vega is a top notch human being. He is as hard working as he is honest. After sitting down with him for a discussion about our needs and his honest evaluation of our current situation I knew we had found our electrician! He started working and called in Blane, who is equally amazing, for backup. I was so impressed that I took out a maintenance plan with their company which includes HVAC. If that department is half as good as Jonathan and Blane, then we are set for life with our electrical and HVAC needs!! If you want an honest, hardworking electrician than call TE and ask for Jonathan or Blane

Certainly not the most expensive, but we had to have a recall for a motion detector light that had been installed incorrectly and asked for a quote on a single power receptical.

The technician seems very competent however we wanted to have a power receptacle replaced with a standard two receptacle jack from a single receptacle outlet and were quoted $150

The part alone is three dollars.??? The lever involved in that would have been about five minutes.

Unfortunately we had to seek out another vendor to add additional sub panel to our home after that quote for a existing power outlet change .

It appears "" all the chain electricians"" have higher prices than independent ones. Replacing a single outlet should never cost $150 especially when there's no additional junction boxes involved.

I cannot say enough great things about TE electricians. My experience was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone I have interacted with has been courteous, professional and helpful. Sherman was my electricians for getting recessed lighting installed and moving a fixture. He was on time, respectful, professional and friendly to my dogs that followed him around while he worked.
