Said they forgot to schedule me, then saaid it was cause I lived in a loft and lofts use conduit (as in the name for electric cable) ... then after I left cause my place was 91 degrees . Then thw tech that they said hasn't been scheduled, and couldn't work on my unit. Some how showed up.

So ... if you wanna be lied to, put on hold and have your time wasted. These are your guys.

TE electric is my go to when it comes to plumbing repairs. A lot of the bigger HVAC/ electrical companies will route you to a different team when scheduling plumbing repairs - not TE. I love it that they work as one team and the ease of scheduling any appointments. Most importantly when you have a plumbing issue, you want somebody to come to the same day or next day. TE has consistently been able to send a team promptly to my properties to help take care of the issues. Thank you TE!

The tech introduced himself then asked what I thought it was worth to have the drain opened! Unbelievable. He wouldn't stop with this approach so I finally said $500 and he said he could work with that, which made me think I was over charged.

Then all he did was punch a small hole through the clog that let the water seep out. I know this because I later had two other companies come and put a camera down the drain to give me a quote on a complete repair and they showed me it was only partially open.

Bottom line I feel I was scammed out of $500 and would NEVER recommend TE Certified to anyone.

Service delivered: HVAC removal and total installation

Timing: the team sent was strategic, took minimal breaks, and finished in 1 day even while running into obstacles. This was very admirable.

Quality: we felt results as soon as our system was turned on. Very pleased with the efficiency they provided, and we hope the heat will work just as well as the A/C (this service was provided before the summer heat)

Value: I dreaded spending the amount quoted, however, the expense only made sense. Our electric bill was insanely high due to stalling the upgrade and running the A/C at half capacity for longer. I see a great difference in our summer bills every month.

Would I recommend? Yes
Will I use them again? I'd try this company again in the future if needed.

Update: After requesting to speak to a manager, I was contacted by Kevin who was very apologetic and acknowledged that they messed up with communication and waived our inspection fee for the inconvenience. I really appreciate a company that can admit to mistakes and make things right.

TERRIBLE communication and customer service. We had an HVAC inspection scheduled on a home we are purchasing with arrival window between 2-5 PM today. Received an email in the morning that said they expect their technician to arrive as scheduled in the ""middle to end"" of our 2-5 PM window. Ok no problem.

At 4:30 PM, I texted to ask for an updated ETA. Was told at 4:41 PM ""our technician is wrapping up now and will be heading your way shortly"". Super vague and not helpful but we're like ok sure so they should be here..""shortly"".

The technician then calls us at 5:37 PM (at which point we have now waited 3.5 hours for them!!) and says ""be there in 35 min"". We're already fed up with the wait at this point but we assume we can take his word for it. It's now 6:25 PM with no technician in sight and the dispatcher who I talked to 10 minutes ago to get a status update has not called me back.

Absolutely terrible company. I can handle schedule changes and straightforward communication but this company does not tell the truth.

So glad we reached out to TE Certified! They made the process easy and the technician they sent out was really nice and treated our home like it was his own. Would totally recommend and use them again when the need arises.
