We called Steve for a quote to replace and upgrade our house electrical panel so that our Solar contractor could install Solar. It turns out that even though NO ONE ELSE who has solar in my neighborhood has had to jack hammer their driveway to install new 3"" conduit OR replace their old electrical panels, PGE is flexing all of their might and they are making US do it.. After weeks of back and forth with PGE and the City of Vacaville, Steve told us that PGE shot down all of his plans and ideas for how to accomplish the panel switch out without costing us an arm and a leg. He gave us regular updates about where things were at with trying to get the permit pulled with the City, ultimately he said that PGE wasn't going to budge and he would have to rebid he job (his bid came in the lowest BY FAR) to include PGE's demands... We are currently reaching out to PGE and our Solar Contractor to duke it out with each other..

Steve, thank you so very very very much for all of your help with this. We never thought that putting Solar on our house would be such a nightmare! We will definitely be contacting you in the near future for other electrical jobs we need done once we get the panel nightmare taken care of.

I called him in the morning, he was at my house at exactly 1 pm as promised that same day, quoted me a not-to-exceed price, and adjusted his very full work schedule to fit my small job in to meet my tight schedule. He completed the work (adding a new dedicated circuit to a microwave) at exactly the scheduled date and time, which allowed me to get the City approvals I needed to close the sale of my home on time. He worked so fast, then presented the bill at $100 less than his quoted price, because he finished faster than he originally estimated. To top it off, he came out days later at my request and fixed a problem with the new circuit (not his fault, but due to my own actions), and fixed it so fast that he did not charge me for this additional trip and work.

Steve takes the long view that his business will thrive based on customer service and integrity, rather than making the most money possible on each job. I highly recommend him and trust that his approach will result in many happy customers like me continually hiring him and recommending him to others, and continued prosperity and success for him and his business.

I had a really good experience with Taurus. Steve the electrician, came out quickly to look over the work that I needed to have done. I had to replace my entire electrical panel and I was totally stressed out that it was a huge job that would take weeks. Luckily Steve assured me he would take care of everything and I know he spent more time on the phone with PG&E than I did. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had to pay through PayPal and ended up dealing with technical issues. Other than that they were great and way more reasonable about pricing than other Woodland companies I've dealt with before.
