Tapia Electric is definitely going to be our ""Go To"" electricians for all future needs and absolutely will be recommending to others. Jorge and his son came out to our house to address 2 issues. Installing a new fan in our loft area and to address a problem we were having with our outside lights randomly working and flickering. Jorge was very quickly able to determine the problem with the outside lights was actually a faulty timer switch that was installed a number of years ago. That was our last thought as to what the problem was. They replaced the faulty time switch with a standard toggle switch and end of the problem! His son also replace the light and fixture of our porch light which was up 2 stories. Scared me to see them up there but they got it done quickly. Fan installation was a bit tricky and we thought it might be faulty but they got it done and fan is working great.

On top of the quick response, being on time and great service, their pricing was very reasonable. Can't ask for anything more! Definitely give them a call. Also did verify they are properly licensed with the state, and have proper insurance which is so important when you're hiring someone to work on your home.

I have had a moody GFI outlet in my garage and it finally decided to die. I contacted Jorge after not getting a response from another electrician and he came out the next morning and replaced the outlet for me with his son. They were friendly, fast and charged a reasonable price for something I didn't want to half-ass or tackle on my own. I will definitely reach out to Jorge in the future whenever I need an electrician.

A couple nights ago, I noticed my EV charger wasn't on. I reset it, but no luck. I then went to flip the breaker, thinking that would solve my problem, but when I flipped it back on the breaker made had a horrible short with a loud BOOM accompanying it. I thought it blew out my entire breaker. All the lights in my house were out. It was 9 PM.

I called our previous electrician, whose contact info was on our breaker, but he didn't answer. I was desperate to at least see if I could get ahold of someone, so I went to Yelp and called the highest rated electrician, Tapia Electric. Yo my surprise, he answered immediately. I let him know my situation and he told me he couldn't come out that night (understandably, it was 9PM) BUT what he did was walk me through what to do, helped me reset my breaker and get electricity back in my house - all during after hours.

Not only did he help me, but he came out the next morning and fixed what turned out to be shoddy work from the previous electrician. Needless to say, he is going to be our new electrician going forward. He made what seemed like a horrible issue for me and turned it into a surprisingly pleasant experience. And, the cost to fix didn't totally break the bank.

My company, My Insulation Guy, had installed insulation for an unoccupied home. Homeowner noticed power not working to sections of house and understandably thought we had done something. I reached out to Jorge from Tapia Electric. He was quick to respond and came out to inspect the issue same day. Jorge determined that it was not our fault, that someone had improperly wired several of the boxes, causing it not to work. Jorge then repaired the issue and went above and beyond to check rest of house to make sure all the electrical was done correctly so new homeowner would not have to be concerned about potential fire hazard. Jorge was great about communicating when he would arrive, kept me updated on his inspection/repairs and his price was very good.

Super impressed with this company! They responded very quickly (even though it was after working hours) to a message I sent requesting a quote.
Power being out in part of the home can be a real inconvenience, but they came out the next morning, and fixed the bad breaker, fast!
