For more than 67 years, Taft Electric Company has been Ventura County's leading electrical contractor, dedicated to our community. We are licensed to handle projects under California A, B, and C-10 classifications across all sectors, including commercial and residential. Taft Electric has been a cornerstone of the construction industry for over 63 years, backed by a workforce of over 234 employees. Founded in 1947 just a few blocks from our current office in Ventura, California, we became incorporated in 1965 under the leadership of our owner, W.E. (Bud) Hartman.

Our Senior Energy Consultant is Brian. He is a California State certified electrician with 13 years of experience. Brian completed a five-year electrical apprenticeship and graduated in 2007. Solar electricity is where Brian's passion truly shines. He has spent the last four years as a field foreman and project coordinator. Brian has advanced to become the solar energy manager at Taft, significantly enhancing our competitiveness in the solar market. Brian embodies the professionalism and craftsmanship that define Taft.
