For more than 67 years, Taft Electric Company has been Ventura County's leading electrical contractor, dedicated to our community. Our licenses in California A, B, and C-10 allow us to operate in various sectors, from residential to commercial. As a competitive contractor in solar electricity, we excel in all aspects of electrical work. We cover a wide range of services, from utility installations to retrofitting lighting. We are equipped to install full electrical systems, such as industrial controls, fire alarms, photovoltaic systems, and commercial lighting, along with high and low voltage solutions.

With a history spanning over 63 years, Taft Electric has been a reliable partner in the construction industry, employing more than 234 skilled professionals. Established in 1947 near our present office in Ventura, California, we incorporated in 1965, led by our owner, W.E. (Bud) Hartman.

Brian is the Senior Energy Consultant at Taft. He is a California State certified electrician with 13 years of experience. He graduated in 2007 after finishing a five-year electrical apprenticeship. Brian is passionate about solar energy. He has spent the last four years as a field foreman and project coordinator. Brian has advanced to become the solar energy manager at Taft, significantly enhancing our competitiveness in the solar market. He exemplifies the professionalism and craftsmanship we expect at Taft.
