Taft Electric Company is the largest electrical contractor in Ventura County, proudly serving our community for over 67 years. Our licenses in California A, B, and C-10 allow us to operate in various sectors, from residential to commercial. Taft is recognized as a competitive player in solar electricity, focusing on comprehensive electrical solutions. Our capabilities include everything from utility work to modernizing lighting systems. Taft is proficient in installing comprehensive electrical systems, which encompass industrial controls, fire alarms, photovoltaic systems, and both high and low voltage lighting.

Taft Electric has been a cornerstone of the construction industry for over 63 years, backed by a workforce of over 234 employees. Founded in 1947 just a few blocks from our current office in Ventura, California, we became incorporated in 1965 under the leadership of our owner, W.E. (Bud) Hartman.

Brian serves as our Senior Energy Consultant. Brian holds California State certification as an electrician and has 13 years of experience. He graduated in 2007 after finishing a five-year electrical apprenticeship. His passion lies in solar electricity. He has spent the last four years as a field foreman and project coordinator. Brian has advanced to become the solar energy manager at Taft, significantly enhancing our competitiveness in the solar market. He exemplifies the professionalism and craftsmanship we expect at Taft.
