Mark is a true craftsman and very particular. He does excellent work and is very creative. Mark took on the challenge to match 15+ year old kitchen cabinets and did an excellent job of making everything match. He also designed and created a custom fire place mantle to create a old style look in a family room that did not have any character. All of this he did without any detailed plans but through a simple picture.
Mark is well worth waiting for! We are delighted with everything he has done for us and the rest of our family.

Mark did a great job with adding a new cabinet for us and modifying a poorly done existing cabinet with builtin microwave. He took the time and effort to find the best possible color match and took detailed measurements to ensure a perfect fit. He is clearly a craftsman and takes pride in his work, a refreshing quality nowadays. The only downside is that he works solo, which means he is booked weeks in advance, but this is an acceptable tradeoff for good quality. I will use his services again.

Mark did our family room fireplace wall and we couldn't be happier with the job he did. The cabinets were build really well and the re-facing of our fireplace was the cherry on top. Even more than that Mark was NOT! like most contractors.
He was reliable. He stayed on the project until it was done and didn't bounce from job to job and leave you hanging. He would txt if he was going to be even 15 min. late, and answered his emails. All good stuff. You always take a chance when you hire a contractor and we hit a home run with Mark. We found our guy!

This July, Mark completed a project in our garage. There were multiple elements for the job, including installation of gable vents, electrical, and full insulation. Mark did an excellent job, as the finished product met or exceeded our expectations. Having worked with Mark in the past on larger projects, I really appreciate his communication and attention to detail.
And with this project, even though it work in the garage area and less detailed and refined, Mark brought the same level of attention that he did when he updated our bathrooms and added a new 1/2 bath. Mark clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and always takes the extra time and effort to understand the homeowners expectations and desired results for the project. Looking forward to working with Mark again on future projects.

It has been several years since our kitchen remodel and we noticed a very strange pattern that looked like a spider web forming on all of our cabinet doors. Mark came out and after some research determined there was a product application issue. He took all the doors and drawers impacted by this and redid all off them which was a significant amount of time and effort on his part. He did not charge for this. Mark truly stands by his work and he has clearly demonstrated this starting from the project itself through to resolving defects that have occurred after the project completed. We continue to highly recommend Mark.

I wanted to share with everyone my experience with Mark. Because he couldn't do a color sample before I had paid in full up front (nonrefundable), I asked for photos of his work showing the reclaimed wood/driftwood look from my bathroom vanity sample photo. I also asked if there are any quality guarantees for his work. Below is my original message and his response. If he treats prospective clients this way, I'm glad I'll never know how he treats his current clients when he already has your money.

My Question:
I am bummed to hear that the samples aren't free to see in advance but thank you for letting me know. Could you possibly send me photos of previous work showing wood that is similar to the sample photo? Also, does the vanity come with any quality guarantee in case there is an issue or damage that wasn't noticed prior to handoff? Thanks so much and have a great day!

His Response:
By law, contractors must provide a free estimate. I have provided that, and included 2 free samples, along with the purchase of a custom made vanity.
My custom cabinets are made with highest quality lumber, and plywoods available on the local market. They are delivered in installation ready conditions, and free of any defects, to specifications you provide. I also use the best quality catalyzed lacquers available. Thats the extent of what i offer. You can pics on my yelp page.
I don't have any pictures of white washed cabinets. I haven't had a request for anything whitewashed in over twenty years. Maybe longer.
I think you should be looking for something you can put your hands on, purchase, and walk away with. Having something custom made may be too much of a risk for you.
Try home depot, or lowes. They have samples on the floor, from cabinet companies they work with. That might be a better fit for you.
