My wife and I hired Matt earlier this year for a panel upgrade on our rental unit. Matt was so easy to work with and handled everything from the permitting process to the inspection - which was a breeze!
He showed up on time, worked around our demanding work from home schedules, and was so quiet when working, that at times we'd wondered if he was on his lunch break!
We've since had Matt back for a couple other projects and I find myself wondering if my wife and I have found ourselves now addicted to adding new circuits, or if maybe we've just grown to miss the guy! Thanks Matt!

Highly recommend. Matt is very responsive. His work is very good. Will hire for future needs.

Matt came out and did some electrical work on our bedroom and outdoor Ring camera. He replied quickly and seemed to me to be honest asking if we had done some preliminary troubleshooting. He actually was able to come out earlier than expected and worked quickly and solved the issues quickly while explaining what was going on very thoroughly. Great prices, very courteous. We will use his services for electrical issues again for sure.

Matt is very good, very knowledgeable, very professional & above all very kind to work with ... I contacted him yesterday and the next day he was at my house fixing my security cameras ... I highly recommend Matt and would call him whenever I need any more work done ... thank you Matt!!

This was my second time calling Matt over for an electrical issue, but this time it was at my work and not my house. He was just as wonderful and accommodating as he was the first time. Even though this wasn't his normal electrical type of work he usually handles, he still solved my problem with the utmost professionalism! I will continue calling and recommending him for all electrical needs in the future! I wish I could find a ""Matt"" for every type of repair job I need done!

I called so many electricians and no one could solve my intercom problems. Everyone I called wanted me to buy and install a whole new system. And just when I was about to give up I found Matt. He was able to diagnose my buzzer issues quickly and he was honest and he didn't price gauge my like so many other companies were trying to do.
Matt is an honest and trustworthy person. He is a person of high character and integrity. It's rare to meet a person of this caliber. I strongly recommend giving him a call for intercom and electrical issues.

We've done _a lot_ of electrical work at our new home over the past couple months, and Matt has really taken care of us through the entire process -- I'm very happy to be able to write a great review, now that it's all complete!
Summary: Matt really stands by and takes pride in his work, and went to great lengths to make sure that we were happy with the result; there were no shortcuts. He explained everything along the way (very important when working with SCE), and worked with us to understand our needs, and suggested great solutions. His pricing was honest and transparent, and _very fair_. He was a real professional.
More details:
In terms of scope, we started with a main electrical panel upgrade (100A to 220A). This was a very complicated project as we also needed to upgrade our underground conduit (to 3"") to support the thicker cabling, and so involved multiple parties: Matt, SCE, an excavation company, and the city inspectors. Matt first acted as a liaison to SCE (who was difficult to work with) to do diligence and ensure the work was necessary. He then was very accommodating in terms of timelines to make the process go smoothly.
Inside the home, we added some new circuits for a home office, upgraded lighting throughout the home, and did a number of low-voltage work on doorbells, charms, security cameras, etc. The home was under renovation in other areas, and Matt was again very accommodating in terms of timelines, and more than patient with us as the renovation evolved and new requests / changes came to light. Again here, Matt went the extra mile to ensure we were really getting what we wanted and were satisfied with the result. As a WFH employee and gamer, I can say I was *very* happy to finally be able to plug my gaming desktop into a new dedicated electrical circuit (his suggestion -- thank you! ) and full cat6a hardwired connection :)
To boot, Matt is a genuinely nice person to be around. Thanks for everything, Matt!

Fixed a complex mis-wiring problem in an old house. On time and reasonably priced. Workspace clean and well patched.

Had Matt out again to finish off a bathroom remodel project. The first time he came, he gave me estimates for new attic lights and fixing a hallway light fixture that did not sit properly. When he installed the bathroom light, he also did a great job on the new attic lights and re-seating the hallway fixture properly. He is very thorough, a good communicator, provides pictures of what he did, and exactly what he estimated. His prices are also great!

Okay so this is the first time ever I've updating a review.
My first review about Master Electrician Matt Sabre couldn't rate him above 5 stars, because I definitely would have!
In a nutshell: my older outdoor spa had stopped heating but was otherwise working fine. After several paid diagnostics and no solution, I was hopeful and doubtful about another repairman.
Although a Master Electrician and not a spa repairman, Matt worked on my spa at no charge: including a trip to Home Depot for a fuse, and another trip to try to replace the pressure switch. The heat still was not working and Matt suggested I contact a plumber because the pressure switch was so close to the water source. He was concerned about water getting into the electrical panel.
Still no charge!
Now this is totally my fault from here! Even though I had cleaned the filter prior to Matt attempting the repair, it was not enough to kickstart the heater. Something told me to put in a new filter.
VOILA!
So he had fixed it all along!
As a homeowner and a realtor I've seen my share of bad contractors and repairmen.
If you want the absolute best in HONESTY (all caps), integrity, professionalism and overall 'knowing their #$$&!.......
MATT SABRE: THE BEST!
Thank you Matt!
