I used Fred on a home that I manage in Thousand Oaks. He went out and gave me an estimate. I got an okay from my owner and Fred went back and completed the work in the time frame he told me. Fred has done several jobs for us now and he's our go-to handyman for anything that may come up. We first hired him to tile our shower a few months ago and it turned out perfectly. Just this week he put in a new tile backsplash in our kitchen. He's also done a few other random odd jobs.

Fred's a perfectionist, does very precise work, and pays great attention to detail. He's professional and easy to get along with. We've ended up paying more than his original bid every time, but the quality of the work is good enough that it's worth it anyway. We will continue to call Fred for any handyman jobs we need help with!

Fred is the greatest! We had what we thought was substantial doggie damage at our old apartment. He came by looked at it, stained some wood for us and let us know how much it would be to replace the door jams. But he also let us know we could very easily just sand and paint it ourselves. Saved us about $300. Great guy!! I would definitely call him again.

One thing I've learned about Yelp and Angie's list is to not assume that service providers with lots of Yelp reviews are the best. Someone could say ""hey yelp me and receive discount"". That's NOT Fred. He may not have a ton of reviewers but that does not mean he is not exceptionally detailed oriented and a consummate
professional.

We have hired other handy man, plumbers, electricians, designers, contractors etc that were complete douches and stuck us with an outrageous bills where only karma will eventually take care of their greed. That's NOT Fred. His prices are very reasonable.

Fred is HONEST, and knowledgeable about his work. He takes PRIDE in doing a good job and not just doing a half azz lame shoddy job. Don't you hate when you pay good money and because you are not supervising 24/7 the work is terrible? That's NOT Fred.

Call Fred ASAP and save yourself time,money and heartache from others that think just because they have a ton of clients and jobs that they are somehow invincible and can phone it in. That's NOT Fred.

He is very responsive and he receives this richly deserved 5 star because he earned it by over delivering a rarity in this day and age.

Having to bring my mother's 36-year-old house, which had virtually no maintenance in the last 15 years, up to a marketable state had me dreading the job ahead. Our real estate agent suggested T.O. Handyman, Fred Sherman. With a critical eye to cost and efficiency, Fred suggested needed repairs. He and his team painted only necessary areas, took down a wall-mounted T.V., repaired water-damaged dry wall and replaced weight-bearing posts on the patio. His repair work was cosmetically successful and I was pleased with the modesty of my bill. Fred brings job skills from many crafts (painting, electrical, plumbing, to name a few) combined with a no-nonsense approach and an eye to the bottom line. I am recommending T.O. Handyman to my friends.

I called Fred to install a new kitchen faucet. He called when he said he would, arrived on time, and did an excellent job. Very professional, courteous and his prices are reasonable. Fred Sherman has completed repairs at two of our Thousand Oaks rentals. He replaced a sink and a screen at our condo Spring 2012 and water facets, and a shower valve in our house Summer 2012. Mr. Sherman has always been very responsive to our request for repairs and prompt with completing any repairs. Today he replaced a hot water heater in our house and he did a fantastic job. Fred went by the house, purchased all the needed supplies and returned to complete the job in a very timely manner. Myself as the owner and the tenant were very happy with his prompt response time and quality work in today's repair. I must also mention that he works well with our tenants which makes everything go very smoothly. We wanted to replace our bathroom sink and tub faucet sets, but we had a problemmatic setup with extra long faucet stems. As a result, we couldn't find a matching set. Fred happened to see the perfect match at his local hardware store and just bought them for us. He went the extra mile to solve our problem and our bathroom looks really good. I would recommend him.
