Although I was extremely satisfied with the work done, I even gave them a Christmas gift. I was quoted $125 Flat Rate via message (which is also posted on his page). I was first told the boss would email me a bill, then told they requested cash and told the boss said $150. I asked for a receipt as this was home improvement and was told the boss would send in email of which I have yet to receive.
Thrilled with the work, VERY disappointed with the office and paperwork follow up.

TMU electric did a great job for me. He removed two ceiling fans and replaced them with 1 chandelier and 1 new ceiling fan. He was responsive and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I had a switch here in my home that I'd been putting off replacing for some time. So, first, let me say, the work was fine. The guy who came out to do my work was great, the work appears to have been done well and the price was reasonable.

But, communication has been touch and go. My initial message back from TMU said they could get to me ""today"", but then a technician reached out to me to say ""tomorrow"", which was a little annoying, but not actually important. Over the last two days I've contacted by no fewer than three people all identifying themselves with TMU who all seem unaware of what they others are doing. To their credit, they've all been very polite about the fact that the job is already done.

I would readily use them again, but the experience has been a little weird.

Communication is key! I went against my gut because the ratings were good. Come to find out, the day of our scheduled appointmnet the communication was poor. I had an 8am to 10am window that was scheduled on Tues for Fri. I reached out to TMU around 930ish to see their whereabouts, just to be told they were behind on a job and they wouldn't be able to get to me until the afternoon. At that point I canceled and moved on.

I replaced an electric water heater and needed an electrician to bring the heater wiring up to Houston city code and then connect it to the heater. I requested quotes through Yelp and seven electricians responded. TMU responded the fastest and was the only one that gave an estimate. I decided to go with TMU. It was easy to communicate with Mr. Tedrick Underwood, the owner. He showed up on time and charged me $200 less that the quote. He was very friendly, respectful, and informative. No hesitation in using TMU Electric again.

Excellent service! Arrived early on Saturday. I had another electric company added a sub panel and they put in the wrong size breaker. Some plugs need to be checked. Great work!
