This company was the worst electrical provider I've ever used. They sent an electrician about 6 weeks ago to check on a dimmer switch in my kitchen, that was hot to the touch. The man took off all of the switch covers in the kitchen never paying attention to where dirt was falling all over the counters. After about 2 unsuccessful hours, he claimed that someone would need to come out to trace the line. It took the company a month to finally set an appointment for today between 10. Guess what? The technician Thomas texted and said that he'd be here in 12 minutes. Never came. So, I called my home insurance provider, Old Republic and they called for me and said, sorry, they can't do the job. Too involved. Why did they keep me waiting 5 weeks to tell me this?? And four and a half hours of my Saturday!
Two words: THE WORST!!!

We had a technician come out to fix an unpowered outlet in our new home, through First American Home Warranty. After about an hour, the technician was unable to locate the source of the problem. He stated that he'd need to come back with a tracer to figure out where it was being powered from. After not hearing back from my First American Home Warranty company or T & J, I called First American and they are stating that the technician lied and stated that the outlet was converted to a light switch and that they would deny my warranty claim. This is a flat out LIE, and shows how LAZY this company is. Looks like the majority of their business is through warranty companies, which makes sense since no one in their right mind should ever hire this company for their personal use.

Under NO circumstances would I EVER hire this company to do any work for me. They were initially sent out by my home warranty company and all went well, but the work I needed was not covered under the warranty so I scheduled with them to have the non-warranty work done. The first time they were supposed to come they called to say one of the techs called in sick and they couldn't make it. We rescheduled. The second time they were to come they called to say it was too hot for the tech to work outside, so we rescheduled. The THIRD time they were to come they texted at 7:00 a.m. that they were too busy to do non-warranty work and wouldn't! After much effort I was able to reach the owner of the company, Mark, who apologized and offered me a discount if I would reschedule, so I did. They were supposed to come out today. I called to verify I was on the route for today and guess what.....they were too busy to come! I'm through. They aren't the only electricians in town. No way in hell would I EVER do business with this company! You shouldn't either.

An ""electrician"" from this company was dispatched to my house. They were there to diagnose a faulty attic fan switch. They tightened a couple of wires and claimed there was nothing wrong with the fan. They do not stand by their work and will not help in resolving the issue. My wife was at home when the technician was there and the tech took advantage of the situation to take our money and leave without any real work done.

Worst company ever I have 12 foot ceilings so I require a remote with my ceiling fan, the technician from T&J told my wife that he could not replace the part with my insurance, but he could sell us the part. He said I could add a string so you guys could operate the fan. He also was to check my kids bedroom ceiling fans, one of the fan he said, the loud noise it's making could be fixed if I spray WD40 on it .After he checked the last fan he replied it's normal for the base of the fan to move around when the blades are moving. The technician also was unprepared for the job I had to supply a ladder so he could do his job!

I would give no stars if possible. This technician was sent by my home warranty company. I lost power in a bedroom for no obvious reason. He came late in the day and checked outlets and the breaker box. Since he didn't find anything right away he said he needed to come again when he had more time in order to diagnose the problem. He collected his service call fee and went on his way. He did not show for the second appointment and since he did not diagnose the issue, he did not file a report with the home warranty. I tried contacting T & J, but all they did was send me an online survey. I called the warranty company and they were able to get a ""diagnosis""--only problem was that he made one up and it was not a warranty covered issue. To top it off, my husband went to check the breaker box and found that the tech and taken out the safety panel and left the box open and wires exposed. I hired another electrician who was able to diagnose and repair the problem in under an hour! I think they call themselves an Investment"" company because they deal more in collecting fees than correcting electrical issues.

Worst service ever. I now see why there are so many 1 star reviews with T&J.Placed an work order on my ceiling fan through American Home Shield.
The problem: Ceiling fan was working fine but the light fixture was lose and fell on the ground.
1. Technician came out, checked the ceiling fan (disassembled working fan) and told me that it wasn't fixable and needed to place a new order for the ceiling fan.
2. The next business day, I got a call from the AHS saying it's not covered under insurance as actual unit was physically ripped out. What??!!!
3. Discussed with AHS and they told me I have 2 options: (1) call for 2nd inspection, or (2) speak to T&J technician for further review.
4. I called T&J first to see why the explanation was different - called 909-900-5837 (Supervisor) # listed on AHS website.
5. The Supervisor told me he will check with the technician and get back to me.
6. No return call, so I called again to the # above.
7. Supervisor told me to call 877 # to their office to check with the company and told me that it's AHS who is not covering and there's no way light fixture from the Ceiling fan would break.
8. I asked him if he understands all the background (what I have explained to the technician), and he told me no but fact is that it was not still their job to do - he was being very very very rude and start raising his voice.
9. I told him not to yell at me and he hung up the phone.
10. Called back AHS and told them what had happened and filed a complaint for their contractor relations department.
11. I also asked AHS to arrange T&J to come out and reassemble the working fan (they left without re-assembling it).

Stay away from T&J, they are very rude, unprofessional - especially so called supervisor with 909-900-5837 #.
This is one of the worst experiences I've had for service I am paying for.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUN AWAY.

Filed an emergency claim for electrical problems with First American and was guaranteed a visit within 24 hours, but they said they couldn't come out for 2 days.

Then they didn't give us enough time/notice that the technician was on their way and he showed up unannounced. We called and asked them to wait because we were stuck in traffic from work, but the tech decides to leave and not tell us or my niece/nephew... who were INSIDE the house. We wasted our whole day on their incompetence when we could have had a real electric company help us. They also LIED to First American and said we missed our appointment.

The other reviews were right, this company lacks basic competence and communication skills.

T & J Investment (Electrician) was referred by my home warranty company (1st American). My whole house fan did not work. The electrician arrived and went up to the attic crawl space where the fan is located. He then stated the fan was inaccessible so he could not work on it. He reported that to 1st American Home Warranty. 1st Amer said that because it was inaccessible it was not covered by my Home Warranty. Additionally, I would have to prove the electrician from T&J was wrong. I called a local electrician (Baker Electric in Escondido CA) who came out to give me an estimate. He went into the attic and asked if anyone had been up there. I told him the T&J electrician and a termite inspector. He said the fan was unplugged. He plugged it in and (wonder of all wonders) it worked - he did not charge me. Obviously, the fix was not inaccessible, but 1st Amer kept saying it was because the doofus from T&J said it was. I'm still fighting the battle with 1st Amer to get my service fee back. I called T&J to get my service fee back and Mark said he would tear up the check. I looked at my online bank statement and he had cashed it 2 days before we talked. I will not do business with T&J ever again.

Horrible customer service. They did not call to notify me that they were not going to visit my home, they simply never showed up. I called to ask what happened, why didn't the electrician show up? They told me ""okay, i see here that you missed two appointments already, but its okay I will schedule another appointment.""
That person is full of BS I only scheduled one appt and I was home all day. I didn't recieve a reason why they never showed up. I wasted my time on this company. Im calling a a professional & responsible Electrictian Company unlike this one. Please stay away.
