Not sure what has happened to these guys, they used to be pretty good. Tom came out, looked at the project and then went dark. Pinged him multiple times and after several weeks, he eventually gave me a quote. I indicated that I had a couple of questions about the quote, and again he went dark, with no response. A couple of friends said the same thing happened to them.

I moved on and won't be trying T.E.C. again. Definitely would not recommend.

We worked closely with Jeromy updating our electrical system. He was incredibly responsible, communicative, and efficient. I am not savvy with electronics and he was able to break down the tasks in a clearly understandable way. I can't recommend him enough.

T.E.C. does fantastic work, and has very competitive pricing, you really can't go wrong with them. They've done both big and small jobs for us over the last few years and we've always been pleased. The biggest job we had them do was rewiring our 1930s house so we had grounded 3 prong outlets everywhere, which was quite an undertaking. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they're always very good about cleaning up and keeping everything tidy. They have excellent attention to detail, and will get things right the first time. I only wish everyone we had work on our house was this good.

I phoned in December 2020 for an inspection appointment and was told the Manager would call me back. No call back in over a month. I phoned again and left a message and I also sent an emailed to request for an appointment the first week of February 2021. No one contacted me. Very disappointing. I saw so many positive feedback but.............

We've had a complete electrical re-wire of an old Victorian house in Alameda completed by T.E.C Electrical. Tom recommended Berkeley Lighting Company and passed quite a considerable discounts to us based on various LED drivers, switchex modules and lights we've ended up buying for the project. Everyone who worked on our project from T.E.C electrical did everything on time and with great quality and care. Eric was very thorough and methodical on specification of all the outlets for appliances and types of lights and fixtures; that saved us quite a bit of time and money down the road, once we had all appliances and fixtures ready for installation. Overall quality of parts and installation, down to labeling of internal subpanels is absolutely great. I highly recommend TEC electrical to everyone who needs electrical services.

I called Tom for a problem that I had with an outlet and he sent two guys for me. What we thought would be a simple job, turned out to be something even more serious. The team helped me discover that I had a hidden outlet just covered by duct tape. The last electrician that looked after my place did a half-assed job by covering a damaged outlet with duct tape and a piece of scotch tape over the breaker with the words ""no work"" written on it. Long story short, when Tom's guys flipped through the panels, sparks flew from the hidden outlet and almost created a fire. They carefully took care of that and also the initial problem that I had. A few days later after they sent the invoice, they called me to follow up on how things were and this made me feel reassured. For the people who are unsure of deciding on an electrician, I would definitely say T.E.C is folks to call.

Alfonso came and saved us! We had no power to half of our house for 3 days and the other electricians couldn't figure out why. Instead of re-wiring, which would of cost an arm and a leg...Alfonso found the root cause and fixed it in just a few hours. Thank you

I was getting desperate and discouraged trying to find an electrician to fix my outlets to my stove and refrigerator. I must have called about ten different companies and even referrals given to me by others. Finally, I contacted T.E.C and spoke with Jeremy. He told me he would come to assess the situation . He arrived on time with his assistant Ryan. they diagnosed the problem, fixed it and cleaned up everything afterwards.
My refrigerator is humming happily and I can cook again on my stove !in a word awesome!!! I would highly recommend this company as there are many touting promises but can not deliver. thanks you T.E.C electrical!!! Eloise Van Sandt
