Recommended Customer Reviews

I hired the because the owner spoke like a car sales man and I fell for it and as I got talking to the owner (pual) on the first day he told me he never had any electrical experience before stsrting his own company he had all his crew there 2guys when he told me he will problem hsve 4 guys there, I got talking to one of his workers and they informed me that they never had more than,
I was shocked at how he Spoke to his work the were in there 30 min unpaid lunch and he was telling them to return tocw

It's been 5 days since my replacement charging station was delivered to Synapse Electric and they have not contacted me to schedule an installation. I have been without a charging station for my electric car for 2 weeks. Synapse is not answering their phone.

I have had a negative experience with this company. It is listed in the San Francisco Diamond Certified Directory. I chose to contact this company because of its listing in that directory.
I called this company 4 times, and left 2 messages because nobody picked up the phone. My phone calls were never returned. When I called the 5th time the phone was answered by a Paul (I assume the owner of the company as listed in the directory). I told him what my needs are, which is the installation of an Electric Vehicle charger for my all electric car.
He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't really do that kind of work anymore, because he is too busy with large projects installing solar panels. ""You mean like large roofs"" I asked. ""No, much larger"". ""Oh, like covering large parking lots as I have seen sometimes."" ""No, much larger, acres and acres of solar panels"" Since the photos on their websites of solar projects are ALL roof projects, he lied to me. I did wonder why a man who installs such large projects answers the phone himself or does not have an assistant answering the phone for the business when he is out on a job site.
Even though he is listed in the above mentioned directory specifically as a business that installs ""Electric Vehicle Chargers"", he told me verbatim that he can't really be bothered with that kind of work any longer, but that he would do it for me. He made it sound like he would do me a favor.
I told him that to make his life easier I would send him a detailed description of my particular situation with photos to explain it all very clearly. I did this over the weekend.
To this day I have not received a response from him or anyone else from the company.

Very expensive. No apparent experience or expertise in older homes.
Our current electrician said he could have done the job for about a third of what they charged and without chopping up the surfaces, leaving large tranches to be repaired. Way too much ""attitude.""
