I contacted Seth to inquire about a main panel upgrade, as our home had 100 amp panel and we wanted to move to 200. Seth was prompt and professional in understanding the issue, delivering a quote, and completing the work (which involved moving the panel from the back of the house to the side of the house).

The reason for my 3-star review has been the radio silence which has followed. He was supposed to come back and label the circuits, and I wanted to have some additional work done replacing outlets outside. Calls and texts to his phone have not been returned, and I even went as far as emailing the company email asking if they were still in business, with no response.

What's most troubling is seeing a review from a couple of days ago! I am befuddled as to why we are being ignored.

Seth at Switched Electrics is my new go to electrician. I called and immediately got an actual human (Seth) on the phone and not a voice message. Before sending anyone out and charging a service fee, we did some quick trouble-shooting over the phone to which we found the problem. He didn't have to do that and in fact, the 2 other electricians I previously called didn't do this. He saved me some money with his helpful and generous nature and I really appreciated this. For all my future electrical needs, Seth and Switched Electric will be my first choice and first call. Honesty and helpfulness are two qualities I value and Switched Electric provided both in spades. I am amending a previous negative review. Seth was slow in getting an estimate to me, and he apologized for the delay due to personal reasons, I get it, we all get to be human from time to time. Seth then provided the estimate and we proceeded with the work. Seth's work is first rate. He communicated each day about arrival time and what he would be working on. Seth is very professional, and also a very nice person. I would recommend him to anyone for electrical work. Prices are very fair.

Initial response was timely. I was exited to get a text within an hour of requesting a repair. I was then quoted the hourly rate and I agreed. After that, I was ghosted. I even asked if they were still there after a few hours of no response. Two days later I asked if I should move on to another electrician, still no response. I moved on and already had repairs done by Seidel electrical. Good luck if you get ""lucky"" enough to have this company do your repairs.

Seth came to my house to move to electric plugs over about 3 ft. One of the plugs was for a dryer which he told me he needed to buy a new cord and install a 4 plug instead of the current 3 plug. The new cord he put in was too short and was stretched out hanging mid air. I told him the cord was too short and he stated he would swap it out after his vacation as he was leaving for a week. I told him that was fine. while he was gone I text him to let him know I had a oven plug I needed installed also so I wanted to let him know so he could plan to do both on the same day. He did not respond back which was fine as I knew he was on vacation. I expected to hear from him when he got back . last l spoke to him it was August 26th. It is now Sept 23rd. I have text his work number twice, emailed him twice, left 2 phone messages and text his personal number. no response on any of them. I made it clear if he didn't have time to please let me know either way. still no response. I now have to pay another electrician to buy a new cord and install it after I already paid Seth $700.00. He was very professional and nice but his lack of response is very disappointing and unprofessional. I would have recommended him highly but anyone that can't take a few seconds to respond back and doesn't keep his word about coming back and fixing something he's been paid for isn't worth it. I always try to treat others how I would expect to be treated and I always hope others would go the same but unfortunately that is not the case with Switched Electric.

Found the problem and fixed it perfectly. No power in both bathrooms and non-related wiring shorting in garage. Very professional.
