This guy Charles is a scam, he was recommended by my insurance company, I think he lives off the 75 dollar deductables. My claim was denied which has never happened before and after reading other reviews it seems like there are lots of claim denials. I think he writes claims to be set up for denial.

I scheduled and confirmed an appointment 1 week prior to my appointment and also, 2 days before the actual appointment. I booked 1-5pm as the window I would be home on a Saturday and they confirmed this time as well. So all is well. Then, on the day of the appointment, no one arrived. I had 2 text exchanges in which a rep or automated response (not the technician) stayed: ""Hello...please look out for the text alerts from our system. Advise you to keep your phone nearby in case the technician tries to call you as well. Thanks."" And then, radio silence. I called the facility and the offices were closed (on a Saturday, even though I had a Saturday appointment confirmed) and left a message asking for feedback if the tech was going to come and fix my electrical. No response. Due to this lack of response and just not showing up or even contacting me to reschedule, I can confindently say I absolute do not recommend this company.

So, I was apprehensive given the review below. But, Charles showed up within the window, diagnosed the problem, and got back to the home warranty for approval for the required repair. Apparently you gotta ask for Charles!

Horrible experience with this company. I have call multiple times to try and get info on a service call that they did through my home warranty. They were supposed to email me and never emailed. Then multiple call went unanswered. Very unprofessional and they never answer their phone.

Was assigned this company by AHS and had a frustrating experience scheduling the appointment. All the calls go to their answering service and it took multiple calls for almost two weeks for someone to call me back to re-schedule the original appointment they just assigned. Once they came to the house, the tech said they couldn't fix anything without authorization from the home warranty company. What a waste of time! After that horrible scheduling experience, I requested another company rather than deal with the drama! Even AHS said that Switch Electric did not provide an update or follow up with a request for authorization!

Yelp needs a negative star setting for a company like this. I was assigned them by a home warranty company to repair a laundry room exhaust fan. They came out with two technicians who, although nice enough people, solved nothing and then told me they would ""figure it out"" and get back to me in two or less days. That was two weeks ago. I have called every day since then and received not one single call back. When I called the home warranty company they said that they had the same experience. Switch never even reported back to the warranty company. And the warranty people told me that multiple calls went unanswered. How this company is in business is a mystery...

ZERO STARS - this company is a joke. I had to use their service through my home warranty for a ceiling fan repair. They came out in May - the tech was in my house for no more than 5 minutes and left (he didnt even screw the light switch cover back on before he left) saying that they would need to get authorization through American Home Shield to replace the fan. Nothing happened FOR MONTHS, multiple calls to Switch and the home warranty company. Finally they came back to my house in August, inspected the ceiling fan closer, and again said there was additional issues that were not caught the first visit and they would need authorization from the home warranty company. Its October! My ceiling fan has not been replaced, Switch does not answer calls to their office and this entire experience with this company has been one waiting game after another. So Frustrating. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This company never answers their phone nor do they show up for scheduled appointments. STAY AWAY! Go somewhere else and save yourself the heartache.

The only reason these guys are in business is because of the insurance companies. They just don't answer the phone or return calls. They must screen their calls and only answer when the insurance agents call.

The guy that showed up to service the calls was nice enough, but I suspect he knew my claim was going to be denied because he just kinda left after he found the problem. I needed to contact them regarding information about what he found, but they just don't answer their phone.

I called First American and told them they should avoid using this company. But I doubt they care. And for the record, don't use First American either. They keep hiring these one star guys.

I really wish Yelp had a 0-star. Had a terrible experience with Switch Electric.

I had an appointment with Swtich Electric. I had to reschedule my appointment and it was such a point. Switch Electric would never attend the call. I had to call my Home Warranty and request for a reschedule.

After rescheduling the appointment, I waited at my home the whole day. The electrician was supposed to come before 12 pm. However around 2 pm, I get a text saying that the electrician is on his way. I was able to track him and he was 2 minutes away from my home. But he never made any progress. I kept waiting and after some time, I got a call from Switch Electric saying that I was not present when the electrician came to my place. I had been waiting the whole day and he never knocked on the door or rang the doorbell (I doubt if he even came to our place).

Never go with Switch Electric and stay away from them. They are a serious waste of time and money.
