I would give 0 stars if that were an option. My 3 1/2 year old A C was not cooling so I call the company that installed which was Lee Lewis heating and found out that Mr Lewis had passed away and was told Swift was handling the warranties for Lee Lewis. The first tech came out and told me we had too much freon in out system that has never given us a issue and my fan speed was too fast so he let freon out and lowered the fan speed ,charged a 99.00 service fee and left. After 5 hours the temperature in the.house went up another 5 degrees so I call Swift again and they sent tech #2 out. The second tech said the house needed the fan to be back on high speed and we were on on freon so he switch fan and added freon. House cooled down that night but next day as soon as it got hot temp in house went up 10 degrees. This went on for weeks with 7 different techs telling me too much freon, not enough freon . The last tech who had been here before now tells me we have a hole in our A coil and needed to order the part. Part us covered under warranty but they want 1300.00 for labor and freon. I call and spoke to general manager and told him after all the issues we had im not happy with the cost. He than reduced the cost to 750.00. I called another contractor to get a competitive estimate and he told me my system is too new to need a A coil and that Swift was overcharging and created the.ussue. he got me the new A coil and did the job for $300.00 . I'm sorry I used to be a small business owner and always try to be patient but this is crazy, please call anyone else if you have a problem with your air.

We were customers of East Coast Air, and when they were taken over by Swift we went along with their recommendation. We had one interaction in January where they didn't seem to have our records. This week they lost our business. Our air stopped working on Memorial Day (of course) and so we called their 24 hour number. It was answered promptly and we were given an appointment for the next afternoon. After being out the next morning, we returned to a phone message saying the appointment had been made in error and we should call to reschedule. Tried calling back to the individual who gave us the message (Karen) and her voice mail was full. Called again and left on hold. The third time the receptionist went physically over to Karen to get her to answer. She then scheduled us for EXACTLY THE SAME TIME AS THE ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT! We then got a email confirming the appointment (without a time being listed.) We then got an email listing the COVID-19 precautions that would be taken by the tech (mask, gloves, shoe coverings). When the tech arrived, he had none of the above protections. He took one look at our unit, said we had a leak, and charged us $200 for a freon refill. He said the office (Karen) would get back to us to set up an appointment to have the system checked for leaks. Two days later, crickets from Karen. Today we call and ask to speak to Karen - she's at lunch and will return by 12:30 and call us back. At 1:00 she's not called, so we call back and she's unavailable. We have since called another company. While all this was going on, I got several emails addressed from Swift asking for feedback, which I gave. Interestingly enough, the email messages had no company name in the blank on the form - obviously it is some sort of automatic response thing they hadn't bothered to update.

Great experience so far! I can always count on them to answer my phone call the first time. I've never been on hold. On top of that, I seem to always be calling on them at odd hours and on the weekends. So far, they've come to help me within a few hours of my call. On top of that, they've always resolved my problems and the techs are always respectful and pleasant. This time, the tech Robert Prosser gave us fantastic service. Thank you!!

Swift Services installed my Lennox 15 seer HVAC system in December 2015 they have serviced it twice a year sense. All of the installers and service technicians have been knowledgeable, courteous and user friendly. The office staff has an interesting announcement when answering the telephone and is always attentive and accurate, when they say the service person will be there they are. Swift Services uses the latest technology I get an email with a picture of the technician the day before he arrives and this email also confirms the appointment time. This last visit they have gone paperless and took pictures of the units components and the readings on the latest diagnostic equipment that they were using to service my system. The technician also performed some new updates to the system. All in all I'm quite satisfied with Swift Services and just renewed my service contract with them.

On 8/11/18 Nick, the technician, came to our house and was very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and courteous. He worked very hard to identify and repair the issue while explaining what had created the problem.
On 8/13/18, Nick returned with a new fan motor at 10 pm and worked until midnight provide a working AC unit.
We are very pleased with Nick and give him extra kudos for his efforts.
The office staff does answer the phones after 8:30 AM in a prompt manner.
A negative is having to wait for a back order AC part (squirrel cage) that I was told would be available in 4-6 days post our repair. I called today 8/26, and the item still is not available.

Don't follow the snowman! You'll be left in the cold if you do!! During the cold spell in January & February my heat stopped working. When I called I was told they couldn't see me right away because of the demand and they wanted to get to the elderly first (understandably so). They said they'd call me within 5 business days but didn't. I waited 7 business days then called to remind them but was still pushed off. When they finally contacted me they expected me to be at my home but being that I work I couldn't. So, I had to take time off work at least 3 times only for the problem not to be fixed. It took 5 techs & maybe 7-8 times to try and figure out what was wrong w my unit. I was charged for labor and parts that did not fix the problem. To ""save money"" they recommended that I buy their service plan. However, it didn't help; I was still paying for things that weren't needed or worked to fix the unit. (When I asked for a refund when they couldn't fix the problem, they told me that they don't like to give refunds.) When I said my home insurance would pay for their services I was told by the manager, Shane, that insurance payments take at least 3 months to get and are too inconvenient for him and he wanted me to pay as services were rendered. Otherwise, they wouldn't come out to fix it. In addition, they lied about calling the manufacture for help. How do I know, the business that fixed my unit had called and were told that Shane nor his staff called. Frustrated and cold, I went to another local business for a second opinion. With 2 techs and 3 visits my unit was fixed! Ironically enough, the solution to the problem wasn't what Swift said but a fast and inexpensive fix!
I do not recommend Swift unless you want poor customer service, expensive charges, dishonesty and your problem not fixed. Shame..Shame..Shaaaame on you Swift!!!

A day after my original post I was contacted by the local manager Scott S today. He gave what I believe to be a very sincere apology for the trouble. While this mess surely could have been avoided, Scott certainly did not have to reach out to me. I own a business and have had to contact customers after something did not meet my customers expectations.

Excellent service. Technician that came out was very personable and took time explaining what issues we have. Getting a new unit installed next week. Couldn't ask for better. Very pleased.

Had new heat pump installed 8/4/17. The two installers Dylan and Brock were great. They worked very neatly and professionaly. Answered all my questions and left the condo neat as a pin

This is a completely untrustworthy company that tries to run a scam.
My air conditioner stopped working so I called them to come do diagnostics. They made me an appointment the same day, which was wonderful. The technician came out, was courteous, friendly, and seemingly knowledgeable. After inspecting my equipment he told me that the condenser fan motor was broken, and that the coil in the air handler was corroded, broken, and falling apart. He even produced pictures of the coil that showed a badly corroded coil with parts falling off. He said I needed an entire new system and offered me four different options, the lowest of which was $6500. Since I need to have AC, I agreed to the equipment.
Later that day, a friend suggested I have a friend of hers who is an HVAC technician look at my AC just to confirm the condition. I called Swift and put a hold on proceeding with the equipment and installation. By that point, they had already charged my credit card for the full amount of $6500. I asked them to reverse the charge, and that I would call them if I wanted to continue with their service.
The friend of a friend HVAC technician came by later that night and looked at the whole system. He said I absolutely DID NOT need anything replaced. A blade on the fan in the condenser had come loose and was stopping the motor from spinning. He used 2 screws to repair it, and my AC was working. He also said my coil in the air handler had a little rust, but no corrosion, and it wasn't falling apart. I asked him to take a picture of it... and it was a different picture than the one the Swift salesman showed me. FRAUD! SCAM!
I ended up paying $250 to the man... who wasn't even going to charge me... because I was so appreciative that he saved me so much money. I've had to dispute the charge on my credit card from Swift because they haven't refunded the charge as of yet.
DO NOT TRUST SWIFT HEATING AND COOLING!!!!
