Sean Swede is an independent CA licensed electrician. He came by to check out installing a electric vehicle charging station in our garage for our Chevrolet Bolt EV. He reviewed our electrical service and told us that it would be no problem to install the EV charging station so we set a date to do the work around his other jobs. With a small adjustment in the time he showed up and crawled under the house to install the wire from the main electrical panel to the garage. While under there he repaired the dryer exhaust vent. Two hours later we had a legal EV charging station in the garage for the new Chevrolet Bolt EV. Sean is a skilled and affordable electrician for any size project that you might have. Give him a call!

I would recommend this company highly. He called and we set the appointment. He was there on time. Showed him the problem with the bathroom exhaust and he fixed it. He told us what the problem was. Sean was very professional and friendly. If we have any future problems I will definitey call him.

Swede Electrical installed a wall heater for us and handled the installation very professionally. He answered the phone, showed up on time, which is more than I can say for the other three goons who are supposed to be the big three in Crescent City.

Different than the other electrical contractors, Swede was interested in the history of what we or other people had done when it came to testing a 220 circuit. In contrast, the other three electrical companies appeared to express a strong preference for only working as a sub-contractor under a general contractor and seemed to take an excessively risk avoidance approach after learning that someone tested a circuit. I don't find any of them professional. In the case of Crescent Electric they wouldn't even return our phone calls, even after I personally visited them. And in the case of High Voltage the operator hung up after I indicated we had the circuit tested.

Like many we are dependent on contractors because we don't always have time to do the work ourselves, so having someone coming in and doing the job right is important for us. I wouldn't hesitate in a moment to use Swede Electric again for our next project.

Sean answered my call late Friday afternoon when I learned that my electrical hook up wasn't up to par for our new spa that was being delivered the following day. He walked me through what I needed to do and told me to call him in the morning if I wanted him to come by and check out what I had done. He came over Saturday morning and walked me through what was a simple fix.
Sean was very knowledgable about building codes and made sure all of my safety concerns were addressed.He was very personable,easy to talk with and very professional. I would not hesitate to use his services again and would recommend him to anyone .

Long review:

I was diagnosing a problem at home and getting parts at home depot. The home depot csr gave me some suggestions which I had tried already... he mentioned that this sounded like an issue that needed an electrician and offered to refer someone, so I gave him my info.

Sean Swede called me right away. I had already gotten a referral from a friend as well but Sean called within the hour and tried to walk me through a diagnosis, sight unseen without having even gotten the Job!

Bottom line is that we confirmed an appointment, Sean came by as promised, diagnosed and fixed the problem. I recommend Sean based on my experience today.
