I used swan for my heater repair. They booked my appointment with very nice ladies on the phone and the gentleman that repaired my heater was very nice and wore a mask. Thanks Nathan and terry. I'm now apart of Sam plan for the routine maintenance. I'm excited to have the other trades service my house. More to come.

I contacted Swan about a water softener install. While the technician was here, he verbally told us the installation would cost approximately $750-$900. He left and we never received a written estimate, so I contacted the office. They then sent me an estimate for $7900!!! No, that's not a typo. Ten times the amount I was originally quoted.

Confused, I contacted the office twice for clarification. They told me that quote included the cost of a softener they recommended, although that's not what I asked for. I specifically asked for the cost to install a system I had already purchased. Why would I purchase an additional system?

Then they sent me a revised quote for $3900. Again, how does a $750-$900 job end up being $3900? When I asked for clarification (AGAIN), I was ignored.

This morning they had the gall to text me and ask if I needed maintenance on my HVAC heater. Why on earth would I allow them to work on something else in my home when they can't even be bothered to answer my texts, calls and emails for the first project?

I had previously reviewed Swan Plumbing Heating and Air regarding them not showing up for the appointment, reaching out after the appointment and rescheduling for another day. two days later they called and said they could be there in 10 minutes so I let them since I was here. I had rated them 1 Star since they stood me up and eventually sent a kid out that was nice but had no idea what was needed to be done. In addition, I had inquired about some furnace efficiency work, the gas fireplace plumbing and some septic issues and he said he would look into it since neither of these was in his wheelhouse.

Eventually, they read my poor review and reached out to me so I would remove my review. Long story short, I had another licensed contractor give me a proposal of $475.00 and do it properly as I know and had investigated. Swan came back with a FU Bid of$4,200.00 for a primitive and costly install. Who needs contractors like this, even if they occasionally get it right on some projects? They're horribly unprofessional!

Wow this company was good, they have good people too, the young man that came out yesterday was so polite, this is something you dont see much of anymore, I will make this short they were very reasonable on the price and did a good job, this is the only plumbing company I will ever call in the future, beware there are some bad ones.

I will not use them ever again. This company brought in a fan and it blew out dust all over my house. They used no precautions whatsoever to prevent trashing my house with dirt and dust.

Horrible customer service and care.

Swan Plumbing through and through is a crappy organization that should be studied by academics. It defies what we think of the market system not tolerating high prices and abysmal service.

It took 3 visits, a dozen phone calls, and almost $700 to repair a slow drip from our bathtub faucet.

After confirming a 4p weekday appt, my wife made arrangements to get off early (I was out of town). I literally told Swan she works at a hospital, there is bad reception, text her if y'all need something.

Well, she calls me at 430p saying, ""hey what's the deal ? "" I called Swan. They claimed they had left her several voicemails to confirm (she in fact had 0 voicemails and 1 missed call). I asked what's the point of confirming with me if it doesn't count?

2 guys show up at 530p that day to tell my wife is too late for them to do anything. They looked at the faucet without touching it, and said if they disassembled it they would have to charge her a visit fee that day, and the next time they return with any needed parts.

2 days later I corral them into sending 2 other guys, they come and asked what parts I needed. I said I'm not a plumber, but you are. I need it to stop leaking. I mentioned that google made it seem like I just needed a new cartridge. They said (again, never touched it or disassembled it or got closer than 4-5 ft away from the tub) they'd get the parts on order at Teter's.

I called Teter's Plumbing supply the next day to see if they could help me identify the make / model of the shower handle. An employee there said, you don't need a cartridge, you need a pair of end stops. He was adamant about this.

For the 3rd visit, a lady at the office insisted they would be by first thing in the morning. They just had to get parts from Teter's. At 1030a I called to check on their status. I was told the plumber was in line and coming to my house straight from there. (It's about 2 miles away from my house)

Several hours later I called again. Same lady said, let me give you the plumbers cell. He's at another job. I asked about what happened to ""first thing in the morning"" and the 1030a convo about he'll be there shortly. She had no response.

So around 4,430p the 5th person from Swan on the 3rd visit in 5 days shows up. He asks me if I needed a cartridge for my shower. I said maybe, I don't know. I'm not a plumber. Some people think I need one, and some people don't, but no one has actually looked at the issue. 20 minutes later he says ""yeah, you need these end stop things too and Teter's closes really soon"" so I'm going to grab them.

To his credit (Dawson I think) he stayed till 530p or close to 6p to get it done. When it was all said and done, it didn't leak. It was put together back pretty janky and crooked, but at that point I didn't care.

Then, they charged almost $700 for it (and to boot, they disassembled the guest shower control valve because it was the exact same type. They wanted to see how to put it back together and put that back together crooked.

All in all, I don't know if everyone (except Dawson) is dishonest or totally incompetent, but that's the reality of it all. It's either/ or -
Not shades of gray.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We had a leak in 2 of our roof top units at my commercial building. Not an easy task. There was no complaint only only info on what was going on and how to move forward to maintain. Will defiant use again! Thank you!!

Swan Plumbing, Heating & Air IS A SHAM! I contacted this company to assist me with a gas emergency at my client's house. I put my trust in them to remedy the problem in a prompt & professional way & with fair pricing. This company lacks basic knowledge on how to conduct business within the city limits by FAILING TO PULL A PERMIT! This left my client without hot water and a way to cook meals for SIX full days. Unbelievable and unacceptable! As a contractor, our choice of vendors is a direct reflection of our credibility because they are an extension of us. Swan Plumbing, Heating & Air has been a complete embarrassment!! Everyone should stay away from this company, especially contractors!

Terrible customer service charged $1000 and refuses to return phone calls when there were some issues with the work that was done. Don't use them unless you like throwing your money away!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! Swan Plumbing, Heating, and Air was called to my house to repair a natural gas line my fencing contractor damaged. The plumber they sent to my house, Jordan Jones is apparently Swan's ""Customer Relations Supervisor"" according to his business card. What a joke!!!
Jordan did not obtain the proper permit last Wednesday 3-22-2019 from the City of Carrollton to work on the plumbing at my house and apparently had no idea he even needed a permit at all. On Wednesday afternoon Jordan and his helper repaired the damaged gas line and conducted a test for leaks. During testing they determined there were a few addition small leaks near my water heater and in my attic. Jordan quoted me a price of $200 to repair these small leaks. He repaired the leaks on the water heater and told me he would come back the following day to between 10-10:30am to finish the job. I agreed to meet Jordan at my home around 10:30am. Jordan finally arrived shortly after 11:30am after I waited more than an hour for him to show up. He never called to say he'd be late and did not apologize for being late once he finally arrived.
After the job was finished Jordan tried to charge almost $250 MORE than he quoted me. He also charged the fencing contractor $750 for fixing one other damaged pipe that was excavated prior to the plumber's arrival.
BY THE END OF THE SECOND DAY OF WORKING AT MY HOUSE...... Jordan still had not obtained a permit to work at my house. He told me he had spoken with the City of Carrollton and an inspector was on his way to my home. He told me that the inspector would approve the work and automatically notify Atmos Energy to have my gas turned back on that same day, Thursday 3-23-2019. After waiting for over two hours for the City of Carrollton inspector to arrive at my house, i called the city to see if they knew when the inspector might arrive. The City of Carrollton Building Inspection Permit Office told me the IS NO INSPECTOR COMING TO MY HOUSE BECAUSE THERE IS NO PERMIT FOR THE WORK AT MY HOUSE.
I then called Swan Plumbing and spoke with Scott Sarlay who claimed to be the owner of the company. He told me that they did obtain a permit for the work at my house (even though I had just spoken with the City of Carrollton and they told me there is no permit) Scott Sarlay told me at approximately 7pm on Thursday 3-23-2019 that he would find out what was going on and call me first thing the following morning. The following day I waited and waited for Scott's call. He never called me. At 12:15pm on Friday I called Swan's office FOUR TIMES to speak with Scott as he had still not returned my call. IT IS NOW MONDAY......3-27-2019.

I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM SCOTT SARLAY OR ANYONE ELSE FROM SWAN PLUMBING. My gas has been turned off for SIX DAYS because SWAN PLUMBING DOESN'T KNOW WHAT CITY THEY NEED PERMITS IN. WHICH MEANS IVE BEEN TAKING COLD SHOWERS AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO COOK ANY MEALS IN MY HOUSE FOR SIX DAYS!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!
