Called Swan to flush / clean our French drains. Very poor experience, start to finish. Our house is on a small lot, 0.15 acres. Swan quoted us $1,250 to flush our drain system. Seemed pricey, but we agreed to pay it.
When they got to our house, they realized their equipment wasn't working. They sat in our driveway for 5+ hrs waiting for someone to bring them the right equipment. My wife and I had to work so we didn't get to see them complete the job... big mistake.
Less than 6 weeks later, the drains were completely clogged again. When I inspected closer, looked like Swan completely ignored the drains on one side of the house. The manager was incredibly unhelpful on the phone, said it might be normal for drains to quickly re-clog based on debris. But we had our gutters completely cleaned (incl downspouts) and new guards installed a week before Swan showed up, so his explanation doesn't pass the sniff test. Only solution he offered was another $1,250 visit or a monthly subscription for $1,000/mo, which is laughable given the size of our yard.
Very poor experience. Overpriced, unprepared, and didn't stand by their work.

I used them for electrical and plumbing. The one star is for the electrical, it was overpriced and they did not do it as specified. The plumbers however were excellent and I would definitely use them again for plumbing! While the were here I asked the electrician how much to install 2 ceiling fans outside. $850. I did it myself for free. I didn't want todo it myself, and if it was reasonable I would have had them do it, but $850 LOL

scam
overpriced and want to charge $200 to come out. they will ask for a credit card in advance

I want to let everyone know the value of SWAN when you need help. The professional service you need cannot be matched by anyone else. The 2 team members that came out (Wes and Davis) could not be more friendly and diligent to fix the issue. The office kept us updated all the time via email, phone and text messages. Management is very concerned to make all parties happy and satisfied with their service. The value you get is well worth the money spent.

As a new homeowner i wanted to do small things i could to avoid costly repairs or breakdowns on my large appliances. I called Swan and they sent out Wes a plumber. He saw poor connections on my new water heater. And i did agree they didnt look the best. He gave us a fair rate to correct the issues so i could avoid a potential flood. I feel good about the work and Swan. I signed up for the membership to help save money also.

I have had Swan's to my home for gas plumbing, kamode install, kitchen sink problems and today 1-18-23, a water pipe break at my outside faucet. Wes came today and I have to highly recommend him. He was thoroughly approachable and answered all of my questions and was efficient and professional. Swan's has worked at my house for several years now. I know I'm in safe hands with every technician they have sent!

Not only was I overcharged for my two units, but I purchased the maintenance for one year and they did not come out one time to do the things outlined in the agreement.(Service my heater, AC, plumbing etc) My heating unit was not working last week and I requested service because it's still under warranty except the technician Antonio stated I needed new wiring and a new thermostat. They were going to charge me right at 1k for the repairs. I paid $100 to my American Home Shield and the only thing I needed was a filter. Swan took my thermostat right at a week ago and my item still has not been replaced today because the tech is out of office (poor customer service). My overall experience is overpriced units, unethical charges, left without heating on some cold nights for a week, stolen equipment, exposed wires.
This is ridiculous and insane, ""RUN BEFORE PURCHASING"". Do not work with technicians on commission, is your best bet.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Believe the reviews. These guys will lie to your face to try and rip you off for lots of money. My story is long and started with Atmos. I can't believe Atmos uses them. They probably rip Atmos off too.

**Review of Swan Electric and Plumbing**
I had a terrible experience with Swan Electric and Plumbing. The technician came out to do a pressure test because Atmos hadfine, shut off our gas. The pressure test was fine and the technician collected the payment for the permit for the city to do the inspection. However, Swan never submitted the permit. I called the next day and they finally submitted it, but the inspection was delayed.
The technician was supposed to come out the next day to remove the pressure gauges from the gas line, but he never showed up. Atmos came to turn on the gas, but they couldn't because of the gauges. I called Swan again and they sent someone out to remove the gauges. However, the technician also had pressure gauges on the furnace, which Atmos didn't know about. Atmos couldn't turn on the gas until the gauges were removed from the furnace as well. I called Swan again and they removed the gauges from the furnace.
Atmos sent me an email saying that they would come on Wednesday, November 8th to restore our gas. This means that we were without gas for over a week because of Swan's incompetence.
I will never use Swan Electric and Plumbing again. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and incompetent. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Picture it
December 2021
My 92-year-old father receives a phone call that his property in East Dallas has a gas leak.
Since the triplex is heated by gas, my father scrambles to find a solution--he would have three cold families if this problem weren't taken care of immediately!
Dad calls around
Very few people are working or available or answering over the holidays
Then, he is answered when he calls Swan Electric and Plumbing
He tells them the issue
He is told that $14,000 will be needed with half up front before anything will be done
Desperate and in a bind, Dad agrees.
A contractor picked up the check for the first half and (supposedly) drives off to save the day at the triplex!
You can guess the rest of the story...
This was a complete swindle!
Once Swan reached the property, days later , it was determined that an excavation was needed.
Dad was told that over $700 more would be needed for permits, so another check was given...
New Year's 2022 came and went, and Swan continued to drag out the repairs, coming to the triplex, looking at the situation and then leaving. The tenants started taking videos of the company NOT working...simply arriving, staring, standing and exiting.
One day, an excavator showed up!
The tenants grew excited: maybe the problem would be solved since almost six weeks had passed
Digging commenced
And after two days, that stopped.
Dad was called and told by Swan, ""This is a really bad problem...worse than we thought or expected. It's going to cost $21,000 to complete this.'
But no work was done
A few more days passed, and Dad realized that nothing had happened toward repairing anything
(Of course, his original checks had long ago been cashed.)
Dad called the company, asking for immediate repairs OR for his $7,706 to be refunded with a cancellation of his contract.
Two representatives from Swan visited my dad at his home, where he again informed them of his disappointment and of his desire to cancel their contract
Dad even said, ' I'll pay $1000 for the two days of digging you've done and the $706 for the permits; just mail me a refund check for $6000.
It was understood and agreed upon.
It's September 2023
We never have received anything from Swan--not a check, not an explanation, not an apology and not a solution to the gas leak
Meanwhile
Dad hired a professional plumber for $3300 who solved the gas issue in two days by himself!!
The tenants themselves took it upon themselves to flatten the earth and restore the yard from the hole that the Swan excavator left.
Not sure if this company makes a regular process and profit from screwing people over, or if it's just something they do to the elderly, but they are SHAMEFUL examples of humans; they are pitiful examples of businessmen and they are bereft of any conscience or dignity.
