If I could leave less than one star I would. Believe the reviews. These guys will lie to your face to try and rip you off for lots of money. My story is long and started with Atmos. I can't believe Atmos uses them. They probably rip Atmos off too.

**Review of Swan Electric and Plumbing**
I had a terrible experience with Swan Electric and Plumbing. The technician came out to do a pressure test because Atmos hadfine, shut off our gas. The pressure test was fine and the technician collected the payment for the permit for the city to do the inspection. However, Swan never submitted the permit. I called the next day and they finally submitted it, but the inspection was delayed.
The technician was supposed to come out the next day to remove the pressure gauges from the gas line, but he never showed up. Atmos came to turn on the gas, but they couldn't because of the gauges. I called Swan again and they sent someone out to remove the gauges. However, the technician also had pressure gauges on the furnace, which Atmos didn't know about. Atmos couldn't turn on the gas until the gauges were removed from the furnace as well. I called Swan again and they removed the gauges from the furnace.
Atmos sent me an email saying that they would come on Wednesday, November 8th to restore our gas. This means that we were without gas for over a week because of Swan's incompetence.
I will never use Swan Electric and Plumbing again. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and incompetent. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Picture it
December 2021
My 92-year-old father receives a phone call that his property in East Dallas has a gas leak.
Since the triplex is heated by gas, my father scrambles to find a solution--he would have three cold families if this problem weren't taken care of immediately!
Dad calls around
Very few people are working or available or answering over the holidays
Then, he is answered when he calls Swan Electric and Plumbing
He tells them the issue
He is told that $14,000 will be needed with half up front before anything will be done
Desperate and in a bind, Dad agrees.
A contractor picked up the check for the first half and (supposedly) drives off to save the day at the triplex!
You can guess the rest of the story...
This was a complete swindle!
Once Swan reached the property, days later , it was determined that an excavation was needed.
Dad was told that over $700 more would be needed for permits, so another check was given...
New Year's 2022 came and went, and Swan continued to drag out the repairs, coming to the triplex, looking at the situation and then leaving. The tenants started taking videos of the company NOT working...simply arriving, staring, standing and exiting.
One day, an excavator showed up!
The tenants grew excited: maybe the problem would be solved since almost six weeks had passed
Digging commenced
And after two days, that stopped.
Dad was called and told by Swan, ""This is a really bad problem...worse than we thought or expected. It's going to cost $21,000 to complete this.'
But no work was done
A few more days passed, and Dad realized that nothing had happened toward repairing anything
(Of course, his original checks had long ago been cashed.)
Dad called the company, asking for immediate repairs OR for his $7,706 to be refunded with a cancellation of his contract.
Two representatives from Swan visited my dad at his home, where he again informed them of his disappointment and of his desire to cancel their contract
Dad even said, ' I'll pay $1000 for the two days of digging you've done and the $706 for the permits; just mail me a refund check for $6000.
It was understood and agreed upon.
It's September 2023
We never have received anything from Swan--not a check, not an explanation, not an apology and not a solution to the gas leak
Meanwhile
Dad hired a professional plumber for $3300 who solved the gas issue in two days by himself!!
The tenants themselves took it upon themselves to flatten the earth and restore the yard from the hole that the Swan excavator left.
Not sure if this company makes a regular process and profit from screwing people over, or if it's just something they do to the elderly, but they are SHAMEFUL examples of humans; they are pitiful examples of businessmen and they are bereft of any conscience or dignity.

All in all we were charged almost 1000.00 to fix nothing. We were left in heat 3 hot nights and 4 hotter days. Until we got hold of a family friend that spent 3 hours testing and eliminating ALL possible issues, which Swan didn't do. After eliminating so many possibilities he put in a connector that cost about 15.00 and we've been fine ever since. Swan put in a circuit board for ""said 1/2 of 1400'ish dollars, 738.00) that wasn't needed. My husband was in the attic with the guy when your pulled it off and said it looks good, sniffed it and said it doesn't smell burned but that's what it has to be since it isn't your thermostat. That was Sunday, July 23. Tuesday morning he came back and put in the new 1/2 price board. It changed nothing because our circuit board was not messed up and was not the problem. He took our circuit board and 738.00 told me we needed a new unit and he'd see if he could get us a deal on one. He left with our circuit board and 738.00 and we had to beg for a receipt for payment. We didn't get that for several days either. My husband got home called manager. Said don't worry about it we'll get it fixed but I want MY circuit board back in my hands today. Husband called back about 5:30'ish and asked when it was coming. Said ahh I don't know he has three more stops and he's in Plano and I don't know what time. Husband said I'll be here all night. Wednesday we got it fixed with a 15.00 part, also said the circuit board put in cost about 350.00. After another call manager said they would give us 200.00 since we were ""not happy"". Husband said no. Manager called GM again and agreed to refund the 1/2 price circuit board (that cost 350.00) since we were not pleased. Asked again for our board. Finally on august 1st we got our or someone's board back. And guess what????? It was obviously burned now and obviously smelled burned. Imagine that! So conclusion is, since my husband was there when he pulled ours out said it looked good and didn't smell burned, either they took ours, hooked it up and shot power to it to make it burn OR we were brought back someone else's burned board. We accepted the 738.00 and called it lesson learned. But we also paid for hotel room for our granddaughter and cat for 3 nights. Over 300.00. We paid the 145.00 for him to come out and do nothing and we are out the 99.00 for the yearly fee to keep them on contract, because we won't be calling again. Now, not mentioned...about 2-2 1/2 weeks prior they came out and put in I believe 3 1/2-4 lbs of refrigerant and 2 weeks prior to that they came out and put in 2 lbs of refrigerant. Second time said we may have a leak BUT did not check anything. Those two visits, I'd have to look for exact amount but was around 12-1300.00. I think if we had a leak bad enough to require approximately 6 lbs of refrigerant in 2 weeks I would definitely be needing more now! But guess what I don't. So honestly I'm thinking that was another 1000 + spent for nothing too. I'm pretty sure that was a lie too and should have been refunded for that also! So it was a VERY expensive lesson learned! So no, I do not recommend Swan. I think you can understand why!! 1000 + on refrigerant 300.00 +on hotel. Do you feel I should hype you up as awesome? I don't think so. I just looked at my first bill of 961.00 and realized they charged us 531.00 for a contactor. That is the part our friend changed out for us for 15.00. So either they way overcharged us for the part and didn't change it out or did it wrong or put in a bad one or something.

We had to replace some plumbing, was given a quote for the job plus a waiver of the dispatch fee for them to do the job, so they started the work and in the middle of the job the plumber said I need a different line and it would cost an additional $500.00, when they knew I was not going to go for that, he said well he just eat the cost of the repair, I knew he was lying because I had a brother who did HVAC, and he would tell us that some guys will try to jack you up on the price, they make you feel ok about them adding the service fee call to the final bill, what this idiot did not know was I always give a good tip for a job well done, so I shorted them on my tip and only gave half of what I was planning to give them the work was well done, So be careful when they try to up your cost from the original quote, its a scam.

SHADY!!! Beware!!! I called this Company for an AC repair. They put me on the schedule for a Thursday a so I took off work to wait for my timeslot. Then they had my timeslot wrong - they tried to tell me I was wrong and argued with me until they listened to the recorded call and admitted they messed up. I had red flags at that point, but I also thought that everyone makes mistakes, so I forgave it, and then had to take another afternoon off work the next day on a Friday. Then they showed up three hours later than my timeslot. The guy tried to tell me that my air-conditioning needed a new part which was under warranty, but it would cost over $1000 for them to replace one part. I went ahead and agreed because it's really hot in Texas and I needed it fixed ASAP. Then they tried to convince me to install a different part that they ""recommended"" that wasn't the warrantied part to my ac. I didn't want them to do that because it would void my warranty so they said they would get the part on Monday when the parts store opened and be back Monday morning so I took a 3rd day off work and they never showed up. I would absolutely never recommend this company, and I would advise anyone who calls them to think twice and beware!!!

I had a fan motor going out couldn't figure out why it wasn't kicking over. Swan sent out Josh for my technician and he was able to run test and diagnose the problem right away. Josh was so professional honest, on time ,and courteous. Josh was also very knowledgeable ,he went straight to the problem. I'm very happy and grateful Swan sent their Best Tech Josh Baker!

Husband called Swan regarding our electric in the home we just purchased and they came out on Monday. We had no power to two outlets, and the dining room light wouldn't work at all, but it did 1 week ago. First off they told us that we have a Federal Pacific Electric Panel and that we really need to replace it. Cost? $11,000!!!!
Our bill for the visit was $551.00 for either their ignorance or their lies, who knows.
We had another electrician come out to our house Tuesday/yesterday that confirmed we DO NOT have a Federal Pacific Electric Panel. He replaced one breaker and we're up and running perfectly! Cost? $50!!! We gave him a $100 because we were so grateful to have an honest person to deal with!!!
I would NEVER recommend Swan Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air unless you just like throwing money down the toilet!!!!!!

Grossly overpriced and unreliable. They left the caps off so my AC could leak refrigerant. I will never use them again. What a racket..

This company charged my mother in law $300 to tell her she has a water leak in her front yard. They said it would be $4500 to fix it. They never even broke out a tool. Leak ended up being a faulty solder joint not even a foot deep that could be fixed in minutes. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you want your disabled family member being robbed. Bunch of crooks.
