It can be so challenging to find reliable, competent people when updating your home, which is why I was so thankful to find Jeff! He's an incredibly trustworthy electrician who does outstanding work, often going above and beyond to ensure great results. Jeff updated all the outlets in my home, bringing them all up to code, as well as updating all my light switches and installing all new lighting throughout. He works quickly, but diligently and with an eye for detail. I also appreciated the fact that he's great about communicating issues and explaining the rationale behind various approaches and getting my feedback along the way. Your electrical needs will be in the best hands with Jeff! I can't vouch for him enough.

Jeff at Surpass Electric exceeded my expectations. He's an expert electrician, honest, and hardworking. He rewired our doorbell (which now works really well and even has a light in the push button), solved a strange issue with a GFCI shutting off at random times, and installed a three prong outlet.
He also took a look at old wiring, which I thought had better be replaced. But he said it was absolutely fine and did not need to be replaced. I really appreciate Jeff's honesty and effort and will for sure call him the next time we need an electrician.

Jeff responded swiftly by text and was able to come out the exact same day to provide a free estimate. While on site, Jeff quickly diagnosed the problem, even though it turned out that the problem was with PG&E rather than an issue for an electrician. A less honest electrician might have tried to exploit the situation to, but Jeff happily solved the problem there and then at no cost. Friendly and reliable too.

This is an easy review to write. We have all been in the situation of needing a plumber, a carpenter, an electrician....only to find pretty low quality at usurious prices. So when you come across someone like Jeff, it is like GOLD. Jeff helped us rewire our master bathroom as well as working on other wiring issues we had in this old house. He was able to get to us quickly, diagnose what needed to be done, discuss options, and get the jobs done quickly and well. As if that weren't enough, he is a very cheerful person, and one of those people you look forward to having in your home (where did all of those sulky, entitled workers who serve Marin households come from anyway?) I can recommend Jeff unhesitatingly. Great quality work, great availability and responsiveness, and reasonable rates. Now if I can just find a good plumber....
