Colin Stokes of Surf City Electrical has done all of the electrical work on my addition and remodel of my home in West Santa Cruz. He completely rewired more than 1500 sq. ft, to include new LED ceiling recessed lighting, power plugs, new smoke detectors, ceiling fans, phone, cable TV, CAT 5 cabling with an Internet and cable patch panel. Colin is easy to work with and an absolute perfectionist when it come to aesthetics, regarding how the finished product will look and work. We could not be more pleased his finished product.

Colin works by himself, but gets the job done in a timely fashion putting in the long days when required to make it happen. His billings are reasonable. He is an excellent communicator about, the costs, his schedule, and what he needs to complete the job to your satisfaction. Colin is an expert with the residential electrical codes, he has always passed his inspections on the first go with the City inspectors. He is a pleasure to work with and I plan to use him in the future for other projects. I highly recommend Surf City Electric, and Colin Stokes.

The owner did a great job for us! Colin replaced all our old switches and outlets (the new child proof kind) in our home, replaced all our exterior lighting fixtures and corrected some electrical problems we were having. This guy knows electricty!
Make sure you call him for a bid! He's great to work with and is very reasonable!

Very stoked with our service from Colin. Came out and gave a competitive quote. Worked with me on schedule given I have an abnormal work schedule myself.

Was on time for both requests on quotes and also on time for actual job. He put in an exterior fixture, an exterior motion light, bedroom fan, two exterior power boxes, and fixed my screwed up home fixing of a kitchen light. Great work done everything works and looks perfect.

Was very personable in all interactions and funny guy. Did a great job cleaning up after the work.

I have other projects coming up and I will be using him again.
