I needed one chandelier, and two ceiling fans assembled and installed. Everything was perfect from quote to installation. I am very pleased and I will call them again.

Thank you to these electricians who made it a pleasure:

They accepted the assignment from my home warranty and I had to wait 8 days for my appointment. I even received a reminder the morning of my appointment that they would be arriving between 11:00am - 3:00pm. That's a huge time span to have to sit at home and wait but I was willing to do that to get the service done however by 3:00 no one showed up or bothered to call and has not called since to explain why after 8 days they did not show up for their scheduled appointment. I have since then had to restart the whole process again with my home warranty to have my electrical issues fixed but I definitely told them I did not want this company ever assigned again

Jordan was timely, efficient, professional, personable, and did a fantastic job replacing some pendant lights for us! We were able to use the offer on Yelp to bring the price down a bit. I would highly recommend their services in the future!

Horrible customer service they lied and they charged me $89 just for the guy to drive tk the house sit in the car and not even look at the electrical panel. We spoke to the manager to get my money back but he wouldn't refund me , their staff member Claudia told me and my agent on the phone that it is only a $89 charge and if there are any additional findings they need to fix they or any diagnostic they will let me know the quote and see if I want to proceed with it. All he did was drive there and sit in the car and said he will charge more to actually go in the house basically charged me $89 just to drive there Claudia did not say that , spoke with the manager and he didn't want to be kind enough to even refund for the miscommunication on their part by Claudia I find that horrible customer service. I highly do not recommend this company no customer service or compassion they lie and try to take every penny from you for themselves. I am in the hospitality business and this is not how we do business. For us the customer is always right in this case they messed up and tried to blame the customer and take the customers money when they messed up. And no service was provided. Thank god I run my business differently and this is why we thrive .... horrible horrible even the manager I am shocked at this response to not even give back just $89. Now he will lose many customers I will make sure to let people know not to use their service and spread the word. If they had any customer service quality but they don't. They will now be losing business due to this horrible experience!! And looking at some of the other reviews YES THEY SCAM YOU!!!!

Greg was our service technician and he was great, restored the power at our house days before the forecasted day.

Do not use they will scam you. When I returned home from church, half of my house was without power. I called Superior and was told I would have to pay a non-refundable service fee and the tech would give me an estimate to repair the problem.

After the tech arrived he said that my problem was considered to be major and there would be a $586 fee to diagnose the problem. While consider the fee, the power suddenly came back on. After the tech left, the power went out again so I called and asked him to return. When he did, I agreed to pay the fee.

The tech then opened the panel and determined that there was no power to one of the phases. He then tested the power at the meter and found that there was now power there and that the utility would have to be called to fix the problem.

I believe the tech already had an idea of what the problem even before he opened the box. I paid for what was described as a major problem when in fact it was problem with the utility and nothing to do with the wiring in my house.

I spoke to the manager and complained about the charge all to no avail.

My advice do not use a company that employs deceptive practices to rip off their customers.

Superior Electricians did a wonderful job for me. They installed 5 lights that required assembly! Even went out to get some needed adapters and returned without a reschedule. Cannot say enough good things!

Let me tell you about one of THEE WORST experiences I've had having a contractor in my home.

This review will be long, but the short version is: I DO NOT recommend, and would NEVER use Superior Electrician for their services ever again.

When I called, I was informed there was an $89 appointment fee, but that charge would be applied to any services if I went with them as a company. I asked over the phone, during our first conversation, if I would be able to get the fans installed during the initial appointment, and was told ""yes maam. Most times the work can be done that day."" Great, because I was in a rush to get them done. I paid the appointment fee with my card over the phone, and was told I would get a confirmation text with my appointment time and receipt. After hanging up... I never received anything (Red Flag #1)I called back the next day, and whomever I spoke with let me know they were grateful I called back because ""something was wrong with the system, and the appointment information did not save."" (red flag #2). We confirmed an appointment for that Saturday at 10am.

The day of the appointment, Kevin showed up to my home around 11am (not 10am as arranged). He was very pleasant and courteous, and respectful of my home. He was kind to my dogs (which is a huge deal to me), and he went through the home and gave a full assessment. He let me know he could get the ceiling fans installed, and recommended can/recessed lights for the kitchen. He let me know he would have to schedule a time to complete the work, as it would be an 8hr job. (not same day as I requested over the phone (RF #3). He said he could come out to do the job on Thursday of that week. Starting at 9 am. In order to confirm the job, I was required to pay HALF of the total price of the job. For the ceiling fans and recessed lighting, the job total was $1600. I paid $800. EIGHT. HUNDRED. DOLLARS.

They called back the next day and sid ""due to some internet issues, we were unable to see a scheduled job on Thursday. We'll need to reschedule for the following day. Friday. I hope that's okay."" (RF #4)

It's Friday morning. I get a phonecall at 8:03am from Kevin. Kevin was letting me know that his ONE installer called out sick that day, and they would be unable to do the job as scheduled, and ""we can try and fit you in tomorrow, pending him feeling better."" (Red flag #5).
Now its Saturday Morning. They texted my phone early that morning, to expect their arrival anywhere from 12-2pm. They did not arrive to my house until 4pm. FOUR PM! (Red Flag #6) 2 hours after the scheduled time. At 6pm, Kevin and Alex walked out my front door and said ""we'll be back."" They never said where they were going, just that they'd be back. So I wait... and wait, and wait. Finally at 730pm, I call them to find out. Kevin answered and apologized ""Sorry maam. The line was long at McDonalds. Over a 35mins wait. So we went to Home Depot. When we leave Home Depot, we have to go get back in line at a fast food place, because we never got food from McDonald's"" WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!?!? They came back to my house at 8pm, and got back to work. Around 930pm... and the ceiling fans still not installed, I had reached my limit.

I took a day or two to mull over everything that happened, and called Kevin back to express my frustrations. I've paid the company nearly $900 and still have ceiling fans parts sprawled out in my home and holes in the ceilings. I explained why I was upset (as if there was a need to explain why I was frustrated). I honestly wanted a refund of my money, but per Kevin ""much of the work requested has been done, I won't be able to refund much of the money but I'll see what I can do."" He calls back two hours later and lets me know, to help alleviate my frustrations, they would like to complete the job that was started, and I would not have to pay any additional money. While still not satisfied, I agreed. We made arrangements for them to come the following Saturday to complete. Appt was from 2-4pm. On Saturday, they showed up 2 hours EARLY, hung the ceiling fans and left. Alex did make me sign a note that I was satisfied with the work done (I'm sure just to cover them) but they knew that I was not. The ceiling fans were installed but not the way we agreed. The fans were supposed to be extended and hung lower and they were not. Also, they left a ring in the ceiling that I will need someone with drywall experience to correct. Kevin never said anything more to me. No thank you, no apology, nothing.

All in all, this ENTIRE experience was terrible from the first phone call. It was my mistake to continue to try to work with them when all signs pointed to the fact that they should not be working in my home. I regret entirely working with this company and I hope this review helps deter any further business. I would hate to have someone go through the same experience as myself.

We have used Kevin Prater from Superior Electricians twice for separate electrical issues and both times he has provided excellent service, quality craftsmanship, and fair pricing. Will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend to others!

Kevin is truly a life saver. Throughout the process he was very patient, professional and thorough. He worked with me to help me understand all of my options and ensured that I understand the aspects of what it would take to complete the work, as well as the respective cost. More importantly, he cleaned up after the work was done and confirmed that it met my expectations. Awesome.
