Worst service EVER! I'm a widow in my late 60s. Last night I placed an emergency call about 10:20 p.m. The recording said I'd receive a call ""as soon as possible"". At 8:30 this morning, I called back because no one had called me. The lady was courteous enough but I was told ""our residential service techs are booked up for a month"" before I was able to describe my problem. No way will I call this company again.

Just had excellent experience with this company. Team was efficient, detail oriented, and thoughtful about the projects that weren't super straightforward. They arrived on time as well. I had 2 chandeliers installed, 1 chandelier moved and 1 sconce installed in future kids room. I will use them in the future.

After reading all the positive reviews about the company, I was VERY VERY disappointed to not get a response from them since Sunday. We had electrical issues Sat night, left a message Sunday morning... we had no fridge and lots of Thanksgiving leftovers, and as at 3.00 pm Wednesday, still have not received a call back. Just as well we had another option to use. This company is off of my list to contact.

I had a cutoff box for my hot water heater go out on a very chilly December morning and the folks at Sunvison re-arranged one of their guys to come by (Fernando). He was professional, knowledgeable, and quick. He replaced the box, explained what went wrong and was on his way in less time than I thought the job would take and the price was right at what was quoted without even seeing the problem. I highly recommend these quality professionals. I am already deciding what project to bring them in on next.

Jim Sunvison (his real name) is a stand up electrician that will do what he has promised at the price he's quoted. I've used Jim on several occasion with great success so much so that he was a natural choice to help my Homeowners Association when we needed an electrician. What I really enjoy about Jim is that he's proactive in finding inexpensive and effective solutions to problems. He was able to install lighting in our HOA playground area and lite the place us like a Christmas tree to dissuade loitering. Vandalism and drinking in our park PLUMMETED immediately. He also assisted us with our existing infrastructure and was able to save us a ton of money.
Give Jim a call when things go on the blink................he'll help you see the light!

We had wanted to do some electrical work around the house but kept putting it off thinking it would be too expensive and not sure how to get everything done. Called Sunvison based on another Yelper's recommendation and very glad we did. Jim came out to our house, listened to what we wanted, and provided a lot of great advice. His quote was much less than I expected so we scheduled him to start the job as soon as he could. His team was out the next week and they got right to work.

The electricians, Fernando and Pedro, were very professional and had us double check everything before they cut into the walls. They were very flexible around our schedule and gave us a lot of choices on how to solve our problems. Quality work done everywhere and we're very happy with the results. They didn't rush anything, took their time to make sure the job was done right and that we were happy with everything.

Jim and his team will do a great job at a very fair price and they won't leave the job site a wreck. They didn't leave until we were 100% satisfied. My only regret is waited so long to call to get the work done - love having the new lights up and not having dark spots in rooms. I will be calling Jim in the future for any/all electrical work in my home.

I was very impressed by the guys at Sunvison Electric. They came highly recommended by an electrician friend and they did not disappoint. After the owner Jim came out to visit and understood what I was trying to do with some rewiring, he made some good suggestions, quoted me a fair price and we agreed on a time to do the work. The service technician came out on time and did a great job. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work.

I would definitely recommend Sunvison to anyone looking for electrical work in North Austin.
