Milholland Electric is a company I would recommend to anyone who wants top notch electrical work backed by solid understanding and talent.
In my case I wanted to have solar panels installed, and eventually new heating and central air conditioning. In order to do that I needed a full electrical upgrade of my entire house before the solar or HVAC could be installed.
Brian Milholland came to the house and explained the plan, procedures and costs. I agreed to his proposal. Within the allotted time, and with no glitches, this complicated job was completed and ready for the solar panels.
When I write reviews for big jobs like this one I usually wait a few months to make sure nothing goes wrong after the install and that the results are stable. In this case they are.

Our solar panels just got activated yesterday. The entire team from Milholland is top notch. They are always courteous, very patient with all our questions, and very responsive by phone or by e-mail. This made the whole experience very smooth and drama-free. The installation team is very professional and did everything to satisfy our HOA. Don't even bother.... last message that was received from the PM or Sales Rep (??) was:

""It usually takes a few days to get all the plans drawn, I have contacted Maya and Omar to begin the process. I am working with Sunpower to get the credit app and loan documents sent. They are having trouble with your address due to it being a new home. ""

That of course was over a month ago. They will truly pretend like they are competent but in the end will leave you high and dry....FAIL. This company could care less about customer service and will eventually fail you. They even pretended as though they were going to contact me to try and resolve this and of course never did....

Fantastic solar experience from start to finish. Oscar, Maya, Art, Miguel, Austin, entire install crew, Jose, David and Silvia made the process educational, professional and tailored to our needs.

Pricing was competitive but they really shined in service. Welcoming all questions (even the repeat ones, as we wrapped our heads around the various aspects of solar) with knowledgeable patience. Communication was stellar in every department - quick, transparent and always with our convenience in mind.

They were amazingly fast. We were operational within a month of signing the contract. Just in time to face the worst of the summer heat with solar!

Even after the panels went up, Miguel and Jose came through to check that the install was done properly. Their inspection was seamlessly coordinated with the city's and their attention to detail was truly outstanding. They addressed every one of our concerns with a working solution.

Exceptional company to work with on so many levels!

This is a great company for Solar Electric and roofing..and Solar install...I wanted to make sure the contractor I picked had a 25 year record woking on Roofing and Electric and was licensed in all trades plus solar. The install was great. I had a roof leak before the install and they fixed for 500 Dollars. I did have a glitch with Sunpower. Sunpower sent out a sub contractor other than Miholland..that not do a good job..later Milholland was sent out and repaired the problem..I owned a commercial property management company for 30 years...I would surely use these guys.

stay away from Sunpower if you want service after the install. My monitoring system has not been working shortly after it was installed. I've been calling the company Sempre Solaris who installed it and they said they been trying to get it fixed but Sunpower doesn't want to replace that failed unit and they just keep saying we're working on it. It's been almost a year now and they have no plan or ETA on when it will get fixed.

From start to finish, professional and great to work with. Jason was our sales introduction and he was patient and helpful learning the process. In the field, the team led by Arturo was great! The whole process was went as planned with the exception of rain but Jose / crew did a great job working around the rain doing our roof and solar thermal install. The panel install crew and electrician Aden were all wonderful. Behind the scenes Maya and Austin were there and updating us often.

All in all a great job and service!
