Ria went through a laundry list of items that we've been putting off for years: install a couple of light fixtures, add GFI to our bathroom outlet, troubleshoot some weirdly unreliable wiring, remove an unused fixture, ... Because it was a smallish job, we agreed that it would be on a time and materials basis. Ria got it all done in less time than we expected, and left us feeling confident that everything was done correctly and professionally. The result was a lower cost than we expected.

Working with Ria was a joy. She communicated clearly and promptly. Rather than email and phone calls, we were able to arrange everything through text messages. Then, when it was time to pay, Ria was happy to accept Venmo or Apple Pay -- no more ridiculous paper checks like it's 1899!

I would absolutely hire Ria for future electrical needs.

Highly recommend! Ria was very patient with our questions and very helpful with us understanding what we absolutely needed to do and what could wait. I fully trust that they wouldn't up sell someone on something they don't actually need. Their work was very thorough and tidy. They even deducted some from their original quote when they found a route that would cost less in materials. It's also great to have someone you feel comfortable around your home - Ria wore a mask inside which was important to us and was also incredibly kind to our child who was curious about what they were doing (Ria is a parent too!). We will definitely call on Ria again for future electrician needs.

It is life changing to have an electrician you can actually trust. I had been postponing fixing a good amount of issues bc I was afraid a random person was going to overcharge me, but I couldn't wait any longer, so I called Nuria (I really preferred to work w a woman) and they were amazing. The solutions they offered were super reasonable (the other guy wanted me to do a bunch of unnecessary and expensive things), and Nuria was great at explaining each option, the pros and cons in the short and long term of each, and helping me decide according to my needs and budget.

Nuria helped us out with a couple of issues at our place! They are incredibly responsive and easy to schedule and work with. We had a perplexing issue with a fuse tripping. Nuria worked really hard to help us diagnose our problem, explained all the possible issues in detail, and answered all of our questions. When we weren't able to sort out the source of the problem during their first visit, they gave us an actionable next step and followed up to check on us multiple times. They are extremely knowledgeable and generous with their time and information. I'm very grateful to have found Nuria and can't recommend them enough!

The atmospheric river flooded our basement and the electricity wouldn't come on for part of the house. Ria Bertrand came by in the rain and climbed thru our flooded space to solve the problem super fast.

Before coming, when I was talking about trying to replace a fuse (which wasn't actually what was needed), they offered to teach me to do it instead if I wanted - if that had actually been the problem I would definitely have taken them up on it, because I bet they'd make a great teacher (super knowledgeable, super chill, great listener).

The cost was below average but the service was way above average. Highly recommend.
