This service showed up when scheduled and completely all work at a reasonable price and everything is in fine working order. He even made me aware of a few things that were not up to code that he suggested I change and once I researched and learned that he was correct he did it. He actually put in a lot of extra hours to do a lot of miscellaneous stuff that needed to be done free of charge. I will definitely use him again!

Hired Gill to install a kick plate for our customers refrigerator. He got the job done the very next day. Even though the customer had the incorrect plate he managed to get the job done. Gill was very friendly and nice. Shortly after Gill left the customers house, they called me and expressed how awesome of a job Gill was. They advise that i use him as my main repair company.

Overall, my first experience with Sunny Boy home Repair was great! I will definitely be using them again.

After having quite a bit of trouble with other handyman services, I went on the internet and called Sunny Boy Home Repair because they were the only ones open at 8pm on a Friday night. I promptly received a call back and set up an appointment for the next day. I had been trying to get a toilet fixed and appliances installed and it was becoming much more of a headache than I anticipated. Gil and another gentleman arrived early the next morning, surveyed the situation, left to buy parts and came back and finished the job the same day. Exactly the service I was looking for. I was so pleased that I have hired Sunny Boy again to install ceiling fans this week. I hope they do as good of a job on this project!

I found Gil & Uriel through www.friendtrusted.com. Friend Trusted gave me three competitive bids and Sunny Boy Home Repair's was the best balance of price and reputation. did a great window panel installation. Prompt and friendly.

Hired Gil and friend to cut out some concerete on the patio. Good job there, but they stacked up all of the broken concrete next to our driveway and said they'd be back to pick it up. Gil kept making excuses, and even after I gave him ultimatum over a month later he still did not pick up the concrete for disposal. That's gonna cost me another $80 to get someone else to remove it.

DO NOT let Gil do any electrical work in or outside of your home. Aside from other outlets in our home not woking after he ""fixes"" the one you need fixed, he also replaced a breaker with the wrong kind and it blew our motor to our pool pump. That cost $350 for the pump and $150 for the electrician to fix the breakers and wiring.

Seems like a nice guy up front, but don't fall for it.

I contracted ""Sunny Boy"" (Gill Solis) to have some construction performed in my home. Unfortunately, the service was NOT PERFORMED THROUGH COMPLETION because he failed to return any of my phone calls in which he took my deposit money and never completed the job.

I gave him a substantial amount for deposit for the job, he came for 3 hours, did some electrical work and said he would return the following week in which I never saw him after that day.

Over the next week I continually tried to reach him calling 20-30 times yet had no success. He NEVER showed up for any appointments he scheduled with me. When I finally reached Gill Solis he had excuse after excuse in which still, he never finished the job. Gill Solis of ""Sunny Boy Home Repairs"" does not deserve work in Palm Springs or Palm Desert.

He was UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL the way he took advantage of me and this type of treatment is unfair and I would never want anyone else to go through what I went through. The entire process was the worst I have ever encountered.

This was a very bad and horrible experience which left me DISAPPOINTED not able to trust people they refer from the internet. He left me with holes in my walls and ELECTRICAL WIRE HANGING OUT IN WHICH IS UNSAFE AND EXTREMELY HARMFUL. He was aware I was having guests and he had ample time to complete the project. This frustrates me even more as the project is still incomplete as Gill Solis RAN OFF WITH MY MONEY!

Unfortunately, Gil never came back to finish my job. The work he did was fine, but it was the normal contractor frustration we all have; he simply didn't finish the job. He promised and promised and had lots of excuses of why he couldn't get back on the date promised. He finally simply stopped answering my calls and I finally gave up and hired someone else to finish.
