Got the job done, however price quoted was quite different from what we were actually charged. First hour $149.00, subsequent hours $86 so we get charged for 3 1/2 hours plus the $149.00. Worker was actually at the house for about an hour, then spent 11/2 hours chasing parts, how about stocked vehicles. Parts $95.00 bill should have been for 2 1/2 hours $149.00 +$129.00. Most we should have paid $373.00. We were charged $459.00 when we complained were told ""Sorry"". So what was the extra $80 bucks?
At tip? Here's a tip call someone else, not these guys.

They installed undercabinet lighting for us in a kitchen remodel in 2021. it failed immediately and it took about 8 months to get them to come out and address it and we had to pay for the material then. It failed again within 2 months and now they want to charge us 750 to come out and try and fix it. I guess they do not warrantee their workmanship.

WE had Suncoast Electric come to our home when we remodeled our kitchen they were there for several days added receptacles and switches for the appliances and lighting that cost a lot of money! When work was finished nothing worked! we called and they sent a master electrician who told us that the work that was done was not correct that he had to redo the work that was done to fix the problem Several months later we noticed flickering of the lights I was concerned that there was still a problem i called and talked to Will and asked him to come to check to see if we were having a issue with the work they performed he told me that they will charge us for a service call i told Will that if there is a issue with the work they did i m not paying for a service call Will then became very unprofessional and insinuated that i am an electrician now and know more than him told me to call duke energy and hung up on me! I will never recommend Suncoast for there workmanship or there customer service stay away from Suncoast Electric Don C

Waited a month longer for a permit on electrical that i was told by suncoast electric owner the the permit dept is postponing. When called the permit department they didnt even have a permit on file . The suncoast electric office is a complete mixup. Also, when they send you a technician and u pay them by hour, expect them to do 3 hour job in 9 hours. Owners start to be unresposive. They schedule a job andthen noone shows up or answers calls or texts. This company is a no go for me from this point.

I would avoid this Electrician, and find another. They will not be getting any of my business again. the reviews on yelp about over charging and missing the mark on estimates seems to be a trend. Perhaps this is not just an oversight but a ""business practice""

Called Suncoast and explained very clearly the work I needed. Was given a price and told it was about 2 hours of work which I knew was about accurate. the 2 hour job turned out to be 6.5 hours because the tech milked the entire day - there were no complications or obstacles for what he needed to do . when I disputed the bill the tech presented me after the work I was told I had to pay for his time to go to the supply house and his lunchtime ?? but they did at least take that time off after speaking to their office 2.

Scheduled a week out and were to come between 8-11am. At 9:30am I got a call saying they would be closer to the end time of 11am and would call 1/2 in advance to let me know they were on their way. I called at noon because I hadn't heard from them and now they made excuses and said they could be there at 2pm. I wasted my entire day waiting for them. No respect for my time whatsoever. I called a different company after reading the reviews. They are coming out tomorrow between 8-9am and assured me they would be on time. I got Suncoasts name from Home Depot and I intend on writing a review there so no one else has to waste their time. Read all the reviews before doing biz with Suncoast.

The amount of time that it took was ridiculous (3 days all on different weeks, when they estimated originally it would take one day). And to top it all off, one day they came super super late I'm talking handfuls of hours late and even though they were late their boss refuses to keep them out past work hours so they left before 6pm. Oh yeah and they never turned anything back on so we were sitting there calling multiple times to try and get them to turn around and come back. Eventually they did and they are nice people but terrible electrician.

An electrician was scheduled to come out at 8 am and we organized our morning around this appointment only for them to not show up. After I called and spoke to the Ops Mgr they send someone out in the afternoon, spent 3 minutes with us to tell us the ceiling fan was broken and charged us $149. They had many opportunities to take care of us as customers and they failed repeatedly.
