I can't thank Brent and his team enough! They took over my project which was screwed up by another contractor. They dealt with my permit issues. I can't recommend them any higher!

I chose this place because of the reviews I had read on Yelp and elsewhere. They've got really good ratings, so I was looking forward to this interaction. We called around 8a and I was told someone would contact me. I did receive a call, and explained my situation, and I was told the guy was at another job, but I would be next on the list, and that it would be about 2-3 hours. This was at 8:53am. It's now 3:28pm and I am still waiting...no one has shown up. I have called a number of times, and at 2:40p, I was told the guy was on his way. I'm truly disappointed. I could have possibly called someone else and had them show up already. To be fair, it is raining, and has been off and on all day, but I am still waiting. I will update this review if/when someone shows up.

Update: their electrician finally showed up. He tested something, and next thing I know, my ac compressor explodes. Now we have to wait for them to possibly send an ac person to give us an estimate. Wow... talk about wasted money. Definitely going with someone else. How disappointing.

I called Suncoast Electric and Air with a non-emergency residential electrical issue. They were extremely courteous, flexible, and responsive, and scheduled an appointment that was very convenient to my availability. Brent gave me a call this morning to notify me that he was on the way and arrived at my house right on schedule (I appreciate that!). He diagnosed the problem and took care of it immediately, and even noted a minor issue that I wasn't aware of (funny how you can grow immune to the sound of your doorbell constantly buzzing after all these years!) and corrected it on the spot. Brent was very professional, and stayed until he was sure that I was completely satisfied with the service and had all my questions and concerns answered. I highly recommend Suncoast Electric and Air for all your electrical needs. Five stars and an A+!

They showed up,,, 250.00 to tighten a fuse .... I asked for a detailed estimate and never received one..... I got 2 other estimates they were 3 x the price i ended up paying.. I suggest getting other estimates first....

My suggestion is that you obtain quotes from other companies or look on Angie's List before you use them. I would have saved a lot of money if I had done so.

We picked this company to troubleshoot our electrical problem based on the reviews
and fair service call rate. i did what they recommended me to do and after close to spending $5000 found out that the original problem of flickering lights and power surges continued after they had completed their work. to make matters worse the following weekend I had a burnt out power striip and a blown dvd player on my TV set up and when I called them back up the electrician who did the work ( not the estimator) said that certain power variations were a normal in older homes ( (They had replaced the outside FPE Panel/breakers and changed the wiring in the inside if the house from panel to panel to copper wire). I was about to call FPL and ask them the in regards to the legality on the panel when the electrician stopped me and called his ""buddy"" at FPL to to a check. turns out that my electrical problem was really related to a problem with a line that was maintained by FPL. Once FPL came they immediately diagnosed the problem as improper grounding of my house and immediately ran a new ground line to the house---free of charge and problem finally
resolved!!!!!
So did I really have to spend the $5000? Also the original estimator said that the job would take 2 days to complete and power would be supplied by. generator to my house. The generator they brought to hook up my refrigerator causes it to turn on and off so that I actually used an extension to my neighbors for that. !!! Company did not pull required permit unitl I threaten that I would to complained to the state and City of Coral Springs!! after they did pull the permit the flunked it once and it took almost another month to fix the list of errors!!!!!!!
Stay away from this company!!!!!!

I'm very glad I found this company. Fixed my electrical problem. Yes, there are many electricians out there who can get the job done but if you want knowledgeable, professional, polite, affordable and honest......then this is the company to call. I think this is a family owned business... I will call them back for any A/C problems I have in the future and also remodeling jobs.
