I was told over the phone it would be $69.00 for house call plus cost for parts and labor if there was a problem. It was just a tripped circuit breaker, the tech. spent two minutes in my house. I was charged $204.00, an additional $135.00 for diagnosing the problem. I told him what the problem was when he arrived. Seniors beware, your going to pay $204.00 for them to just walk through the door.

Suncoast electric and air did a superb job with installation of hihat lighting in our family room and kitchen pendant lights, 4 ceiling fans with lights and switchplates. We highly recommend this company for their quality of work, expertise in answering all questions and completing all work in a timely manner.

I can not thank Brent and his team enough. He took on my project that another contractor totally screwed me on. Several people I called before Brent won't even touch it.
They went above and beyond to help me with my situation. I can't recommend them enough!

My four front porch and garage light fixtures recently went out. I called this company to fix the issue and they sent out a nice, seemingly capable technician named Ben. After about an hour and a half, Ben said he was unable to finish the job due to not having a big enough ladder and would have to come back. I said that was fine as long as the work is completed in the next 48 hours due to upcoming travel plans. I did not want to leave town with no working outside lights for security reasons.

Ben said he would definitely be able to come back sometime in the next two days and to simply call the office to schedule a specific time. I then wrote him a check (since they charge an inexplicable 4% credit card fee) and we shook hands after I once again emphasized that the job absolutely must be completed in 48 hours or less. The very last thing I said to him was ""See you Thursday or Friday.""

When I called the office an hour later to schedule my Thursday or Friday appointment time, a manager named Mike said ""this job isn't going to be done anytime soon"" and ""we can't come back this week."" This directly contradicted what I was promised and also meant I wrote them a check for nothing since none of my four outside lights are back on. As I told Mike at the end of our call: ""unbelievable."" This company lied to me.

Edit 3/20/20: After posting this review and sending a letter to the company, they sent me a refund check for half of what I paid. I am therefore raising my 1-star review halfway to three stars.

Suncoast did an amazing job for the kitchen electric work as well as generator hook up. They ran a dedicated line for the generator outside. Now my portable generator os ready for next hurricane! After it was dome they sent there professional carpenter to patch and caulk the outside stucco. Amazing attention to detail!

Took advantage of a senior women..Had power going out in parts of my house... Brent misdiagnosed my problem overcharged for a new Panel that wasn't even the problem. Two days later had same problem. FLP diagnosed problem. They came back put in a new disconnect box that was over priced and then refused to put in a new thermostat. Had to call another company for more money. Why is it called electric and air.. on top of that said they charge 4 percent if u use credit card. Over charged me by 28$ and said would reimburse Never did. So when u see their big add in phonebook stay clear!!! K M. After posting this review I did receive check for 28$... still stay away...
