Very professional work. Pointed out some hazardous previous work that was done which I will have them correct as well.

Installed two outlets and a waterproof switch in my covered patio. Work done quickly and thoroughly cleaned up the area afterwards.

I will hire again for any other work I need done.

Most expensive light switch replacement ever! Do not buy their ""promotions"". We paid $99 for 2 hours of labor. They sent 2 guys to change a light switch which took all of 20 minutes, they called it 45 minutes and said that what we paid for was for 1 hour for each person they sent- for a light switch! I had other things I needed done, but there was no way it was going to take 15 minutes which is supposedly all I had left for what I paid for. They never bothered asking what we needed before they sent 2 guys. I would have told them to send just 1 because that is all that was needed. I suspect they don't ask just so they can send 2 guys and leave in an hour or less.
*UPDATE* I went through Angies List remediation process and Sunbelt refunded the difference of $34 ($99-$65 service). Upgrading to 3 stars to be fair, but I would still proceed with caution when purchasing their promotions and ask lots of questions before they send someone out.

We had a problem with the power going out on one side of our house and nothing we could do would bring it back. We called Sunbelt Electric Contractors based on their great reviews on Angie's List and they were here the next morning. They sent two electricians to immediately diagnose our problem with a step by step process of elimination. They had it diagnosed in less than twenty minutes and fixed in another twenty minutes. So, less than an hour and they had our power back up and running, which was imperative to me because I needed the power restored to my office to do any work. They were professional and polite and didn't mind for a moment that my house was crazy with a loud toddler and two intense dogs and life going on all around them at that time. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an electrician service in San Antonio. We would never have been able to figure out the problem ourselves, that's for sure. Very appreciative of their quick response and their time and efforts. Highly recommend.

The two workers were early! They called to say that they could start ahead of schedule, did all the tasks I had planned, and did a better job on one of the jobs than I thought possible. I had a light put over the deck and the positioning was tricky but they thought it through and did an excellent job installing the thing. It looks as if it had been there forever. They also identified a problem with a roof fan that could have become a fire hazard, removed the damaged part to eliminate the risk, and told me how to get the replacement so they could install it on a return visit.

I purchased a deal for them from Angie's List. I didn't hear from them, so I sent them an email. They called and said I was scheduled for the next day between 8:30 and 9. Ralph actually arrived between 9:30 and 10, which isn't that big a deal. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional.

Sunbelt had problems installing a fan/light ...the first trip installed the fan/light and it appeared to work however after a few hours the bulbs burnt out. Called Sunbelt and they did return to try and correct the problem. It turns out the remote's receiver was not working properly. Glad to see they followed thru and did all they could to fix the problem.

Called on Monday 2/3 and requested a quote to install recess lighting, the person I spoke with took my information and said he would call back later with a time.. never heard from HIM. I called again to say no one called and when I gave him my information, he said ""oh I remember you"". He did come out to look at the job on Tuesday (Big Job), he said he would give me a quote in a day or two. I asked if he could expedite it because we wanted to install lighting before we installed our new floors he said I'll have something tomorrow....When I didn't hear from him , I called and he said "" I will have something for you in a couple of hours""...that was yesterday. So guess what we went with another company. For those of you who have businesses , please don't tell a potential client what you think we want to hear, just tell us what you actually can do. You wasted my time and yours.

Gary was the nicest man, and he was prompt, reasonably priced, and made all his mistakes right. However, he made way too many mistakes, considering he is supposed to be a master electrician.

I hired him to ground the outlets in my older home and he made several errors, including this whopper. He installed the wrong sized (read insufficient) wiring throughout my house. Luckily, my boyfriend, who built his own house, discovered this issue when I asked him to check Gary's work. This was a very dangerous situation that could have resulted in a fire!

Giving Gary the benefit of the doubt, this could have been an error of his inexperienced helper, who was very well-meaning, creative in his problem-solving, and worked hard on the project. However, Gary should have supervised his inexperienced help enough to make sure things were done right.

I wish I could recommend SunBelt Electric, but this big error plus other errors led me to get on here and give others a warning. If you do hire SunBelt Electric, be sure to double-check EVERYTHING.
