A small family owned business with one of the owners having 20+ years experience in the roofing industry. They were through & answered all of our questions that made our decision easy to make. Sun America Solar took on our residential solar project to replace failed hardware that was under warranty by Tigo Energy so they not only had to coordinate with us, the customers, but also with Tigo to get the hardware and software issues ironed out. Which they did! They successfully installed the hardware on our third floor existing solar and also made sure the software worked after the replacement.

Very knowledgeable about the electronics of photovoltaic systems and also conscientious and oriented towards problem solving.

I had been looking into solar for my house now for years. We received multiple bids from local contractors in our area, as well as Sunrun and Tesla.
I am also a Journeyman Electrician and had a couple technical questions to ask. It took about 4 weeks from when i signed up to complete the project. It passed a city and PG&e inspection. And i have just received my notice to proceed from PG&E. There is minimal equipment on my wall and the quality of the electrical work is very discrete and clean. I am able to monitor my solar panels from the SolarEdge app and it is cranking out electricity! I Highly recommend Sun America Solar!

We had solar put on our roof by this company and they never completed the job! They got it put up and connected however they never installed the monitor so we have no idea if it's working efficiently. I tried many attempts to contact them but never received a call back. It's very disappointing that I'm going to have to hire someone else to finish the job.

Sun America Solar was an absolute pleasure to work with from the beginning! Marcus and his team were very thorough. They made the whole process effortless and had an extremely quick turn around time! The installation team was respectful and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves daily, and left us with a beautiful Installation. Our electrical bill has been reduced from $400 to $18. I highly recommend Sun America to anybody who is planning on going Solar!
