I interviewed four different HVAC companies for the installation of a 4-zone mini-split system at my house. Pete was the only one that took time to really assess my crawl space for line placement, as well as recommend an electrical panel upgrade. The other guys glossed over these details, which in the end made a huge difference. Pete is a professional and a perfectionist - exactly the kind of guy you want to do this type of work. He sweats the details, making sure you are 100% satisfied. He was very responsive and didn't even require a deposit to secure my installation dates. I really trusted him and his team with this project, which at $22k was a significant expense. But in the end I know I made the right choice, and couldn't be happier with the job these guys did!

Peter and the Sunair team did a fantastic job for us. They installed a new mini split into our back studio and installed a completely new central HVAC system in the house. Peter was very communicative and helped provide options for the best system to meet our needs and budget. All of the work was done neatly and with minimal mess. They ended up installing an extra floor vent which wasn't originally included in the price and didn't even charge for it. Overall, I was very pleased with Sunair and would definitely use them again. Solar system upgrade: SunAir did an excellent job installing a new solar system for me. The previous system I had was solar shingles, which at nearly twenty years old, were starting to buckle and fail, and my even older electrical panel needed to be upgraded as well. Peter met with me to discuss the job, and when I mentioned that I was looking for a good roofer to redo the roof prior to the solar install, he recommended two highly-rated local companies. As we finalized the contract, he went out of his way to save me money without any reduction in quality by making sure we met the deadline for keeping the solar system under PG&E's NEM 2.0 rates. In scheduling the job, he coordinated with the roofer so that the solar install began as soon as the new roof was on. He and his crew were careful with my garden, kept the worksite tidy, and left it neatly organized at the end of each day. They let me know at the end of each workday what time they expected to return, and they showed up when they said they would. His communication was clear and timely throughout the process. His knowledge guided me through the various bureaucratic hoops that PG&E required, and he made sure I had the appropriate documentation to get rebates and tax credits for the work he did. All in all, a top quality experience.

House rewired with a main electrical panel and two sub panels and two EV car chargers: My home is nearly 80 years old, and the electrical system was long overdue for an overhaul. SunAir did a thorough job of reviewing the existing electrical wiring and making recommendations to bring it up to code, making it safe and more than adequate for my needs. Peter was communicative throughout the entire process, explaining what he planned to do and why, ensuring that I understood the pros and cons of various options. For instance, he explained clearly why it would be unsafe to install the EV charging station where I initially wanted to put it, and suggested an alternative location that, although slightly less convenient, was the right choice. After the job was completed, I acquired an electric stove and when my partner went to install it, we discovered that the 3-prong plug that came with it was incompatible with the more modern (and safer) 4-prong style that Peter had installed. I texted him to ask what we could do about it, and he and his crew came by, without charging me, and not only swapped out the stove cable, but also installed the anti-tip bracket for the stove. He really went above and beyond at every step of the way, even after the job he was hired to do was done. If you're looking for top quality work at a fair price, SunAir will deliver it to you.

Peter and his crew at Sunair do great work. They installed a heat pump at our place and during the entire time, they were responsive to all of our questions, respected our house as if it was their own, and made sure that the work spaces were as neat and clean as possible. Moreover, this was all done for a very fair price. Before choosing Sunair, we got multiple quotes and they gave us the best bang for the buck. I usually recommend getting multiple quotes but you won't need them if you call Sunair first. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

I'm really happy my wife and I chose Sun Air to replace our gas furnace and sub-panel. Peter was very helpful in explaining all of our options and offered a good range of solutions. When he and his team arrived to do the work, they were fast, clean, very friendly, and responsive to our questions and concerns. After the work was completed we noticed an issue with our microwave which turned out to be the result of work done a previous electrician. Peter came back the next day, did some troubleshooting and quickly solved the problem at no extra charge. I will definitely call Sun Air again the next time I need HVAC or electrical work.

I worked with Peter on two projects. One was to replace a gas furnace and a gas water heater with electric heat pumps. The second one to install solar panels, inverters, and the required wiring.

Peter was very responsive to provide initial estimates, explanations regarding the different options, with the appropriate level of guidance.

The installation was done promptly for the gas conversion so that there was no interruption to our comfort. The solar installation required more time and a lot of effort as we did an in-ground installation. Both projects were completed very professionally.

Originally had them install a/c throughout the house. Friendly smart and good at what they do. Did NOT leave me hanging with unfinished work like the previous people I've had work on my house. I've had them back twice since for other work and am sure I'll be calling them again for more in the future.
