It was during that terrible heat wave. Our air conditioner quit working. I knew that all the A.C. companies were swamped. Getting a person to come out and fix our central air was a slim to none option. I climbed on the roof and discovered that the blower motor was not running. I removed the motor and searched for a brick and mortar store. The online stores would take at least 2-days to ship. I found H C Stroud Electric and spoke to a man on the phone. He said to bring the motor into the shop. He wanted to verify the motor before he ordered a new one. I was able to make it to their shop by 9:30am. The order was placed ,and my new motor was in their shop by 11:00am. They even took the time to remove the fan blades off the old motor and clean it up. I was so grateful this repair shop existed. I was able to replace that blower motor and have our central air running by 2:00pm that afternoon!
