Karen B.My 90 year old mother was scammed out of $1500 from this guy for air-conditioning repairs that we later learned he wasn't authorized to even do. She was desperate on a Sunday in 90 degree heat. He came out in an hour and charged $750 to clean the coil, add a can of stop leak, and 4 pounds of 410A (freon?). The next day, it quit again. He came back out and told her he ""found"" the leak and charged her another $750. The unit was under warranty. She turned in the bills as she was instructed and then found out he wasn't an authorized repairman. He told the manufacturer he had told her that, however, that was not the case and he advertises in the local paper for air-conditioning repair. They are going to help her best they can, but I would hate to see this happen to others. Buyer beware of this guy!
