Great company! Just had an emergency electrical issue. A breaker went out on a condo project we were working on. It halted our work and would have been very costly to us but Straight line can out and fixed it in a jiffy. Very pleasant office staff and easy to communicate with. I am now a loyal customer.

Straight Line Electric was very good. We were having weird power problems but only at night. During the day they were able to track down and figure out that it was the main circuit breaker to the house.

Stephen replaced it, cleaned up the connectors and then double checked that everything was good.

This is my third time using Straightline Electric. Since I can't post another review I'm updating this one. 5 stars through and through. Hired Darren for a panel upgrade, recess lighting, chandelier install, sub panel install and many other needed upgrades on my new home. His crew was professional, clean and respectful. They once again went above and beyond taking care of my electrical system needs. They treat you as if they were working on their own home. Excellent work and in a timely manner. Job well done again. Props to Steve their journeyman / foreman and the rest of the crew for all their hard work.



Fantastic company, work, employees and customer service. Quoted me over the phone for relocating a smoke detector and putting a fan in its place. Plus the quote was more affordable than other local electric companies. I purchased a very reputable brand fan with a light. The fan unfortunately was defective out of the box. They tried everything to balance with no success. So I quickly exchanged the fan for a new one. They came right back and installed the 2nd new fan. Believe it or not the second fans motor was fried and didn't work at all. The two employees from straight line electric told me they were shocked that two fans from that reputable company didn't work out of the box. They felt so bad that they themselves took the fan back to lowes and exchanged it for a new one. They inspected the new fan at lowes to ensure it would work. They came back and installed it and it's perfect. This type of customer service is long gone in our modern world. It's good to see a company and its employee care so much. I highly recommend you call straight line for anything of you electrical needs.

If there were a 10-star rating, this group deserves it! Darren and his team went above and beyond the call of duty on my Oxnard home -- a complete rewire and new lighting install. After terminating the prior group only a couple of days into the job (problems revealed immediately), I called Darren's office on a Friday afternoon and he was kind enough to do a 5 PM (last minute) consult. Walking into my home he could see the problems I encountered and was both patient and kind during my stressful explanation. Darren has an eye for detail and made some really great suggestions as we were evaluating and going through the new bid. Due to a fast-track requirement, he fit my job into his schedule and he had his teams here when promised. Not only did Straight Line do a fantastic job on the rewire and install of new lighting fixtures, they went beyond the call of duty with installing and/or fixing areas that were not in their scope of work because other vendors had done incorrectly! I had a tricky medicine cabinet that they put in for me when it was discovered the prior vendor missed the measure (pun intended). I had to leave the property and they took the initiative on their own so it would be done when I returned and wouldn't delay progress. Inspections were all done in a timely manner and passed with flying colors. After the job was finished, I discovered just a couple of things that were not working correctly and Darren sent someone over immediately. They quickly fixed the issues and didn't charge me for the visit. This is a Class-A group of guys who work fast and efficiently and their prices are very fair. Darren will always get the highest ranking from me -- and he's a vendor you can completely trust!

I used Straight Line Electric for rewiring and recessed lighting in my new townhome. Daren and his crew did a flawless job. They arrived on time and worked around a hectic schedule. They answered my phone calls promptly and were out the same day. I had a non-electrician work on the outlet in one of the bathrooms, which he screwed up. Darren came out immediately and fixed the problem. A few days ago one of the ceiling fans, cheap model, broke and my renters did not have light. An employee from Straight Line responded, checked all the outlets to ensure it was only the ceiling fan. I was contacted right away and told exactly what the employee had done and what it would take to fix the problem. The light was fixed at a reasonable price.

I would strongly recommend this company to do any electric work. They are honest, on-time, pleasant to work with and most of all they do a great job. You will not be disappointed.

Darren Howery, did an excellent job on the electrical system of my home. The actual work came out to the same price as the bid. Everything was done perfectly and the work space nicely cleaned. I've been looking for a good electrician, and now I am pleased to have found one, as I have some rental units that will need electrical in the near future.
